Divine Madness. Good book but...
Review of CHERUB 5: Divine Madness - Robert Muchamore by JonesBros

Advantages: Good storyline
Disadvantages: Not as good as the rest of the series

I have loved the whole cherub series, however this book was not as good as the others in the series. Dont get my wrong, this is still a good book, however it did not hold my interest as well as some of the others did, suck as The Recruit, Class A, or The Fall did. It is still worth reading this book, however, if you hav not read any of the rest of the series, then read the others first, and if you do choose to read this book first, then do not take ... Man vs Beast
Review of Man Vs Beast (CHERUB) - Robert Muchamore by midpikyrozziy

Advantages: Punchy, Exciting, Glamorous
Disadvantages: Maybe a bit too unrealistic in parts

Man vs Beast is the sixth book in an excellent series by Robert Muchamore. The series centers around James and Lauren Adams who were plucked from a foster home when their mother died, and began their training at the CHERUB facility, a base for training kids to be super spies, as adults don't suspect kids would spy on them. Similarly to the Alex Rider books, the children in it seem to be too perfect and amazing at everything, but all books need ...
...like many real teenagers would. Man vs Beast focuses on a CHERUB mission where Lauren, James and Kyle infiltrate and combat an Animal extremist group. This immediately raises a morality questions, on whether this groups actions are right, or whether there is a more peaceful method for achieving the same aim. With constant action and excitement on every page, this is a great book for anyone aged 10-18 to read, and this promises to be a very exciting ... Read review

In a Class of it's own
Review of CHERUB: Class A - Robert Muchamore by Curlio

Advantages: exciting, imaginative, great for boys who'd rather not read
Disadvantages: not really suitable for younger boys

I bought this for my son aged 9. I am trying to encourage him to read and, as he loves adventure stories and stories about boys doing exciting things, Class A seemed to tick the boxes. The story was not quite what I expected and may not be suitable for someone as young as 9. However, for himself...he's now addicted to the Cherub stories and is willing to read quietly to himself as a direct result of hearing this story. Cherub is like an academy ...
...in missions, for example, spying, trapping criminals or gathering intelligence and they are frequently placed in very dangerous stuations. This story not surprisingly, involved sorting out drug dealers. My son adored the story.. he thought it was exciting, interesting and he identified strongly with the main characters (strong, a bit rebellious, not afraid, big hit with the girls, funny , not in love with homework- all the things 9 year old boys want ...
