A great product
Review of Clarins Face Cleansing & Exfoliating Care Toning Alcohol Free (Dry/Normal Skin) by honey000

Advantages: Tones skin, closes pores
Disadvantages: Not cheap, doesnt come in small size

...amazing skin both swear by Clarins products so not wanting to get wrinkles I follow their advice. Now toner is something that I am never completely convinced by - it seems like it is a bit of a waste of money as it doesn't clean your skin or moisturise particularly. It promises to close the pores in your skin thus preventing blackheads, oilyness and spots. Living in London where the air is sometimes polluted I don't want more nasty things in my ...
...cheap - ranges between £9 - £15 although you can buy it in a joint pack with make up remover and cleanser sometimes - much better value. It comes in a large size so is too big to take on an aeroplane. It is however good for sensitive skins and does what it says on the tin - it does close my pores after cleansing. It leaves my skin feeling nice and soft and I have never had an allergy to it. It is easily absorbed - just throw a bit on some cotton ... Read review

Clarins Foaming Gentle Cleanser
Review of Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser all skin types by catherine.somis

Advantages: delicate smell
Disadvantages: eye irritation, not great compatibility wit all skin types as it suggests

In a nutshell I would consider this as a rather mediocre product. This foaming cleanser does indeed fulfill its promise to effectively provide a soap and water experience. However frequent use can lead to the mild drying out of the skin, which in the absence of appropriate moisturisation can lead to the production of excessive sebum. My skin type is normal with occasional breakouts attributable to lack of sleep and air pollutants; and overall I did ... Read review

Expensive - but maybe just worth it.
Review of Clarins Water Purify One-Step Cleanser by wendybull

Advantages: Gentle and seems to work
Disadvantages: Price

...shop! That product was Clarins Water Purify One-Step Cleanser. I listened to what she said about it, the fact that it was a very mild cleanser designed for combination to oily skin (you can buy Water Comfort One-Step Cleanser for normal or dry skin) and would not upset sensitive skin, just get rid of the grime build up on my skin and leave it feeling clean and fresh without the tightness brought on by more harsh cleansers like Clearasil. This is ...
...sheet inside the box that Clarins finished products are not tested on animals. This is good to know, except does that mean that the ingredients are tested on animals before they are put together as the cleanser? In terms of value, I know Clarins are a well-known brand and their stuff is expensive, but even though I have had a positive experience from this cleanser I would not pay £15 for a new bottle, hence the loss of one star on my rating. Clarins One Step Cleanser.. no thank you!
Review of Clarins One Step Facial Cleanser by ivytoad

Advantages: Quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: Makes your skin feel really oily..

I bought this Clarins 'One Step Facial Cleaner' when I was in Duty Free, I needed a new cleanser so I thought I would give this one a go since I have never tried it before. This particular cleaner is meant to cleanse and tone in one easy step, which I thought was good since it would cut some time out of cleansing and toning separately. The cleanser comes with orange extract and is meant to 'renew radiance'. The bottle is quite a simple design. It ...
...'Clarins' logo at the stop of the bottle. It then has the name of the cleanser in French and then underneath that 'One Step Facial Cleanser With Orange Extracts'. The bottle has a white plastic lid which twists off and the cleanser comes of a spout at the top of the bottle. Since the cleanser comes out of a tiny hole at the top of the bottle then it is easy to control how much comes out of it so you don't use too much. The cleanser is 'dual action', ... Read review

Lovely Smooth Skin!
Review of Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser by ivytoad

Advantages: Gives a really good clean
Disadvantages: A bit expensive!

...there! I had tried some Clarins products before and liked them so I thought I would give this a go. The cleanser has tiny little exfoliating beads in it to really give your skin a good clean. I absolutely love it. The cleanser didn't dry out my face but instead feels really smooth and clean and my skin didn't feel oily at all. Watch out you don't get any near your eyes (I got an exfoliating bead in my eye and it took all of 10 hours to get out again!) ...
...and it also has the Clarins logo at the top of the tube. It has a white plastic flip-top lid for quick and easy of opening and closing, but this is also unscrewable aswell. As I say, I bought this in the duty free shop, but I have seen it in Boots for £16.50 and I have also seen it in Superdrug too, so it is widely available on the high street. Also, if you search for it on the internet there are also lots of online stores that stock it too. Although ... Read review
