Advantages: Moisturises and exfoliates
Disadvantages: quite expensive

...since I started using the clinique three-step (soap/cleanser/moisturiser) became concious that I wasn't exfoliating my face properly. I got a free sample of teh 7 day scrub cream, and I assume (although I can't be sure!) that you are supposed to use it once a week as part of your skin-care routine. That's what I do anyway! ...look like it was going to be able to exfoliate very well, as it wasn't 'lumpy' it appeared more like a cream. The micro-beads are so tiny that you can only feel them, but not see them. It is quite creamy, and moisturising, and doesn't really smell of anything. It doesn't dry skin as much as some exfoliating scrubs do, and seems to moisturise it instead. I offen use clinique for make-up rather than their cleansing products. After I was recomended the scrub by a friend, this was the first cleansing product I had brought in the clinique range. ...other pre shave scrubs, the Clinique version is very thick in consistency and feels almost like wet sand when rubbed between the fingertips. It is not slippery at all, in fact it is very dry to the touch, allowing excellent control both in terms of dispensing from the tube and when applying it to the face. Disadvantages: pricey and better products out there

...so my foundation looks flawless. Clinique 7 day scrub cream is too gentle for my liking and I have found I get better results with St Ives Apricot Scrub which is over half the cost and often on special offer (buy one get one free etc). But if you want something very gentle this is the product for you. Simple Foaming Facial Wash has the appeal of having no perfume or colour and doesn't have any soap in it which is great because soap has a tendency to dry my skin out. ...the hallway to claim the simple wash. Instead I noticed that my sister had a different face wash from me so I grabbed that in replacement. The next morning I found that my face felt a lot better for it. Much more softer and actually felt more clean as well.
