3 Steps To Put Your Best Face Forward
Review of Clinique 3 Step Skin Care by
dream860
Advantages: mild cleanser, non-greasy moisturizer, price for the value
Disadvantages: cleanser doesn't remove make-up
I have used the Clinique 3 step system for years now and swear by it! I use the formula for dry/combination skin. This set is terrific for people with dry skin or combination skin, because it evens out the skin tone providing it with essential moisture without leaving it greasy. The set in total is about $50 and it well worth the price. It lasts reasonably long, as long as you use the product sparingly. Do the process twice daily, morning and night, ... ...The first step is the mild facial cleanser, which i have in a liquid form rather than the bar soap form. The liquid cleans the skin deep down to remove dirt build-up and leave the face clean, fresh, and ready for step 2. The cleanser is as mild as it says, it washes off with ease, and the fragrance is very mild and fresh smelling. The only downside to the cleanser, is that it doesn't remove make-up, so be sure to remove all make-up before using the ...

Didn't realise my skin was so dirty!
Review of Clinique 3-Step Skincare System Step 2 (Exfoliate) Lotion 3 by
clarebarker
Advantages: keeps oily skin under control without drying
Disadvantages: size of bottles not good for travelling
I've been using this product for 5 months now, and it's still having the same effect as when I started using it.
I'm particularly prone to spots and blackheads, and have oily skin, which can seem dull, but this product manages the greasiness, and when I do have a breakout of spots deals with them quickly.
More importantly though, it does not dry the skin, or cause any irriation as other clensers for oily skin can. I also like the fact that you ... ...wool after use, it's dirty, so clearly getting rid of something!
Found another use for it on holiday as well, works well to sooth irritation from insect bites! Only used it in desperation as didn't have anything else to use, but it worked very well.
Main disadvantage is the size of the bottles it comes in, great for value for money, but a smaller travel size bottle would be handy for taking away. ...

Surprisingly simple
Review of Simple Really Creamy Foaming Facial Wash by
crezzie
Advantages: doesn't have a strong perfume and leaves skin a little less dry
Disadvantages: isn't exactly the best product around
...it immediately got my attention!
Simple Foaming Facial Wash has the appeal of having no perfume or colour and doesn't have any soap in it which is great because soap has a tendency to dry my skin out.
The active ingredients are :-
pro vitamin B5
vitamin E
The apparent benefits are that it restores, softens and smooths the skin whilst also moisturing and improving the condition of it. In some cases however maybe it might be better not to believe ... ...the hallway to claim the simple wash. Instead I noticed that my sister had a different face wash from me so I grabbed that in replacement.
The next morning I found that my face felt a lot better for it. Much more softer and actually felt more clean as well. At the time I never triggered it to my sisters miracle face wash so just assumed that it was all down to simples. Needless to say after a couple of days my skin was back to the way it was when ...

best face wash
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Foam Face Wash by
purple99
Advantages: Cleanses and prevents break-outs
Disadvantages: the green colour is a put off
...is very refreshing. It cleans the skin without making it tight. I have an oily skin with occasional breakouts, but ever since I have started using I don't know what are breakouts. The advantage of the foam is you don't have to rub between your palms to make the lather. It can be used in the morning for cleansing as well in the night to clear make-up. It gives best result if you follow it up with the tea tree toner. The foam lasts for ages. It might ...

Clinique Take off the Day Balm
Review of Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm by
Lightengale
Advantages: Lasts forever, easy on your eyes, does exactly what its supposed to do.
Disadvantages: None, but remember it's a cleanser and therefore has to be rinsed off.
...I am relatively new to Clinique because i used to be allergic to it. But nowadays my skin is a little older and a little more picky. I bought this product because it was recommended by a friend who swore it could shift even pesky stage make up. Anyone who, like me, has worn stage make up to it's full potential will know how hideous it is to remove but with this product you merely swipe it on (maximum panda effect that is so worth it!) all over, rubbing ... ...it to do it's job. Clinique themselves say to follow it up with moisturiser and i have to agree, even if it does moisturise, it's only step one of your skin routine (as a cleanser it needs to come off after application as it's fairly oily upon application, your skin is not left oily however once it's rinsed off and patted dry with a towel) The product add on here says its an exfoliator but it's not, it is just a balm but a very good one at that. ...
