I bought this for a present for my husband and was duly disappointed by the cheap feel the machine had. When it worked it worked well. There is a choice of strong or weak coffee (my moving a very cheap, plastic lever). The coffee it produced was very nice and not at all bitter. Certainly an impressive piece of kit and a must for any coffee adict. The 1st thing you notice about this machine is it's size - it is very small and compact making it ideal for just about anywhere - kitchen, dining room, bedroom, even the garage. The Phillips Senseo is compact, fast and easy to use. One of the main benefits over some similar products, is that you can make 2 cups of coffee at the same time, rather than having to carry out a cup at a time to waiting dinner guests. Cleaning the machine is childs play and it sits neatly on the worksurface, never accumulating dust as its so regulary used. Why are people saying this machine is so good?? Have they ever owned one? My problems with it - 1. The filling hole is quite small (i.e. around an inch wide) and therefore it's quite fiddly to fill with water. 2. When the top lid is lifted, lots of condensation falls down the back of the unit and you must remember to leave a cloth there before lifting the lid otherwise a fair amount of water will fall on the work surface. 3.
