To keep the coffee warm if its going to be left standing for a while,because its not left on a heater, is before putting your cold water into the system,pour boiling hot kettle water inside the pot & leave to stand for about 3 - 5 mins. The thermal mugs mean that it fits into my drinks holder in my car, a match made in heaven for me!!
