Same happened to me. After 5 days the machine stopped working, was then replaced quickly. And then after 2 month this one stopped working as well. I wrote to the manufacturer and received this reply: May we advise that this company sell seconds, therefore cannot be expected to last the normal product life. The Phillips Senseo is compact, fast and easy to use. One of the main benefits over some similar products, is that you can make 2 cups of coffee at the same time, rather than having to carry out a cup at a time to waiting dinner guests.
