Nintendo DS Lite
Review of Nintendo DS Lite by Platti

Advantages: Backwards compatible, addictive games, excellent screen lighting
Disadvantages: Large for a pocket console, not many new releases.

...boy advance games, making this Nintendo next gen portable console throughly backwards compatible. I am glad I stuck with this machine as I am now thourougly addicted. Classics such as Super Monkey Ball trasfer superbly onto this platform, and the stylus brings a new dimension to many familiar favourited such as Ray-Man. Have a go, even if its on someone elses. You will be hooked! ... Read review

Nintendo Wii
Review of Nintendo Wii by skipper6

Advantages: Great Addictive Fun
Disadvantages: Still trying to Find any….

...ever bought. With the Wii Nintendo has revolutionised Game play. The innovative use of the motion sensor controllers has changed the way we play games and opened up gaming to a whole different generation (I can't get my parents off the thing whenever we have them over to visit!!!) Yes the graphics don't compare to the PS3 or the Xbox 360 but they're not the reason you'd buy a Wii anyway. The gaming experience is second to none and one that the whole ...
...games that ensure the Wii will appeal to all walks of life. We have a huge console culture in our house and I think that the Wii is turned on more than my Xbox 360 and PS3 put together speaks volumes for just how addictive the thing is! One word of warning though beware low hanging Lamp shades we've had a few accidents with them!! And we nearly lost the TV one evening when the bowling session became a bit over energetic!!. ... Good, for the younger gamers.
Review of Nintendo DS by bilp

Advantages: Wi-Fi, wide range of games.
Disadvantages: Bad screen, not for 'hardcore' gamer.

The Nintendo DS is an enjoyable game system. There is a wide range of games for all ages and many online games for the player who wants to play against gamers around the world. I wouldn't recommend the Nintendo DS to 'hardcore' gamers due to it's graphics and controls. Personally I think the Nintendo DS is mostly for the younger gamer who wants something to play in the car or on the plane. The Wi-Fi is very good for games, I've never got any lag ...
...the stylus and/or fingers. The Nintendo DS plays Nintendo DS games (obviously) and GBA games, this is a very nice feature because then you won't have to have a Game Boy Advance/SP and a Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS DOES NOT play original Game Boy games. The DS includes a built in microphone which is the first time a microphone has ever been put in a handheld system. The microphone is used in Online Games and also games like WarioWare Touched and ... Read review

Great!
Review of Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP by imacdude123

Advantages: Games are good, long battery life, etc
Disadvantages: Lack of addon attachments

The gameboy Advance SP has a great range of games and great graphics. Sound was OK but a bit tinny. It also lacks a Headphone Port. Its also very durable and I have dropped mine many times. No more than a few scratches! Its also rather nice looking and comfortable to hold. Battery life was very good as well. Up to 18 hours on full charge! There are loads of games out there to play. Any game I have bought I still play all the time. The one thing ... Read review

Revolutionary
Review of Nintendo Virtual Boy by oblivion

Advantages: It fits on your head.
Disadvantages: It makes you dizzy and feel sick.

Nintendo with all it's success needed to take a fall. Maybe it was coming sooner rather thatn later. Virtual Boy was that fall. It was not by all means bad. It was also not that good. Virtual Boy was a headset worn by the user with a control pad attached to it. The set itself was quite heavy and not the thing to carry around with you. The red colour also didn't suit Nintendo's style. The unit displayed infra red to the user's eyes. A good idea but ...
...mistake. They made the mistake of not trying out the console before developing many of them. The public didn't like it. I didn't like it. So Nintendo sold them off cheap with stacks of games to patch up the embarrassment. What a shame the Virtual Boy could've been so good. ... Read review
