Advantages: old school games on a decent console

...use buttons because the jaguar comes with a rather differen control. its a bit big but with the card overlays that came with the games labled all the buttons for you. its actually easier to find game for the jaguar now then when it was released as loads of game shops stock secondhand and new games. also bargains can be found on ebay from 99p not a console for everybody more for the retro old school gamer ... Advantages: Good graphics and sound. Feels solid to use.
Disadvantages: Bulkier than most people are used to. Limited game supply. Heavy battery drain.

...failed wonder that was the Atari Lynx. Bear in mind at the time the Lynx was full colour, 16bit (As powerful as pretty much any home machine at the time) with a sound chip again just as powerful. The games were a mixed bag but contained some real hot stuff, including the best version of California Games I've played. The problem is, or was, marketing. The Bandai WonderSwan is like a colour version of the old game boy. It was introduced into the japanese market 1 year ago and is becoming more and more popular because of the ability to play linked games. Disadvantages: Not exactly pocket size and can only be played by one person.

The handheld monopoly is made by Hasbro. I bought mine a few years ago in Woolworths for £10. I also got pocket Yahtzee free. It was the Yahtzee that I actually wanted but I have enjoyed the Monopoly too.
