Great moisturiser for dry skin!
Review of Clinique Continuous Rescue Antioxidant Moisturiser Dry/Combi by ivytoad

Advantages: Really tackles my dry skin and protects
Disadvantages: Expensive!

...need! I really like the Clinique range so I decided to give this a go since I needed a new facial moisturiser, and I don't regret buying it at all. My skin gets quite dry during the cold weather so I decided to invest in a good moisturiser that combats dry skin specifically. This specific moisturiser is for 'Dry Combination' skin. It claims on the tube to be a 'continuous rescue antioxidant moisturiser'. It is meant to keep the skin strong and ...
...got mine from Boots. The Clinique range is widely available from high street stores such as Debenhams and John Lewis. It is also easily available online. The moisturiser is quite expensive, but I really have found it to be one of the better moisturisers that I have used to combat dry skin. I can't comment on how well it combats the visible signs of aging since I am still quite young and my skin is still quite peachy! I am sure it is good for me ... Read review

Clinique Turnaround Visible Skin Renewer
Review of Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer by ivytoad

Advantages: Made my skin look and feel a lot brighter
Disadvantages: Bit on the expensive side for such a small bottle

I really like the Clinique brand. I know they are on the expensive but I am a real sucker for their products. I bought this as part of a promotional offer at Boots and I have to say I am really impressed with it! This Clinique Turnaround Concentrate was really nice on my skin. The cream is meant to brighten up your skin and give you a more even appearance by using exfoliants which continually resurface the skin. I always feel that in the winter ...
...quite as fresh as it normally does. I started using this about October time and I really think it has improved my skin over the festive months! The central heating normally plays havoc with my skin when we have it on, but I really think this cream made a difference and brightened it up. The directions of use are to apply it twice daily before your moisturiser. Although it comes in a quite small 30ml bottle, to use it twice a day means you are using ... Read review

I like free stuff i do!
Review of Clinique Water Therapy Firming Body Smoother by sarahpervin

Advantages: Got it for free and it works
Disadvantages: Is going to cost me a fotune next time i'm in clinique!

...big see through and yellow clinique beach bag, trial size anti blemish solutions night gel, advance stop signs cream, water therapy firming body smoother, full size colour surge lipstick, a dvd and a copy of Marie Claire. What a bargain! The water therapy firming body smoother is relatively new to the water therapy range and is designed as an all in one product which will firm tone and “re-texturize” the skin. The product also claims to be a “lightweight” ...
...smell it has is the clinique smell which only people who have used their products will know what I mean, it’s very hard to descibe. I didn’t need to use alot as it absorbs almost instantly. Almost as soon as I have rubbed it on it was absorbed leaving a light smooth feeling to my skin. As for the toning effect well I’ve had it a week and as I only have a 30ml tube I’ve just been using it on my arms, to test it, and yes the skin feels tighter, not ... Read review

sooth away the burn in luxury
Review of Clinique Aloe Body Balm by oreilly2

Advantages: gorgeous, soothing cream for sensitive skin
Disadvantages: packaging lets it down

...skin and so always buy clinique and I try anything new. I bought it in Boots, it cost £11.50 for a 150ml tube. It is available in Debenhams as well, and the added bonus of points for both stores make it that bit cheaper. The cream itself is fairly runny in consistency and pale green in colour. When you put it on, it rubs in very easily and has an instant cooling effect on the skin. It feels absolutely lovely. It has a very light, fresh fragrance. ...
...in the recognisable green of clinique body products, with yellow and dark green labelling and lettering. It doesn't come boxed, which I also find a little disappointing, but we all need to be that bit kinder to our environment so in that respect this is a bonus. I would just like it to look a little bit more flashy, so I can show off when I fish it out of my bag! (Ok self confessed poser, but in the world of expensive cosmetics these things are important!) ... Read review

Tingling toes
Review of Burt's Bees Foot Crème by pink_champagne

Advantages: Slightly softer feet, only a little needed
Disadvantages: Pricey, average results

...containing lots of mini sized Burt's Bees products. When my usual foot lotion ran out recently, I got quite excited, as it meant I could start using my tube of Burt's Bees foot lotion! As far as I'm aware there are two types of foot lotion made by Burt's Bees - coconut and peppermint. The one I have, and therefore the one I am reviewing, is the peppermint fragrance. The lotion comes in a tube with an orangey-yellow background and pictures and writing ...
...in. Most of the Burt's Bees products are made with mostly natural ingredients, and this one tells me on the front that it is 100% natural, so you know that your skin is not being subjected to any harsh chemicals. There is a long list of ingredients in this lotion - peppermint oil, parsley oil, tea tree oil, menthol, and witch hazel to name just a few. The peppermint oil is very cooling on the skin, which is why it is often used in foot products, ... Read review
