TIME TO GIVE YOUR SLABS OF MEAT A TREAT
Review of Montagne Jeunesse Deodorising Foot Scrub by
wardenblw431
Advantages: Gorgeous smell, feet are soft and smooth, cheap
Disadvantages: none encountered
...Boots that I came across Montagne Jeunesse Deodorising Foot scrub. I happened to be buying a facemask in preparation of a special evening out that weekend and sitting right in the middle of the vast array of facial treatments I saw the said foot scrub beckoning at me to buy it. I would have expected to see this among the foot creams and powders, but I am glad that it was where I found it; otherwise I probably wouldn’t have thought about buying some. ... ...packaging, but very effective.
Montagne Jeunesse promise to leave your feet feeling softer while smelling sweet at the same time. With built in deodorisers the foot scrub will combat all nasty niffs leaving your feet clean, refreshed and smooth. Later that evening, I decided to put this foot scrub to the test. My feet were feeling hot and sweaty after spending hours trailing town so this seemed just as good a time as any to sample my new purchase.

Sticky...
Review of Montagne Jeunesse Tired Leg Gel by
danielalong
Advantages: It's cheap
Disadvantages: It's sticky
...skin.
~~Made by~~
Montagne Jeunesse, www.monagnejeunesse.co.uk. The blurb on the back tells me I should check out the website for more sexy natural skin care products, which I did. I found a lot of face masques and things but nothing remotely sexy.
There are some quite interesting products though, so if you are interested in hair and beauty products, it's worth a look, because the products are very reasonably priced; this, for example cost me ... ...used quite a lot of these products before now, and have usually been quite pleased with if not the results (too far gone for that) but the quality of the products and some of the immediate benefits. Unfortunately, this wasn't one I was especially impressed with.
As I said, the packet was easy to open, which is obviously an immediate bonus, but once I had the gel squeezed out, I wasn't at all keen on the smell; it was altogether too strange a mix ...

Compeed Blister Plasters
Review of Compeed Blister Plasters by
raeknox63
Advantages: They work, they stick, they do exactly what it says on the packet
Disadvantages: Only come in boxes of 5; quite expensive
...to get more of the Compeed plasters. They come in a very handy container, are relatively easily to apply - once you get the hang of things - and, most importantly, they stick!!
Price wise, they were about middle of the road, comparing them to other brands of blister plasters, but I managed to get them on special offer in Superdrug.
I've only been able to get them in packs of 5, so they are working out at not much under £1 for each plaster, but ... ...thing I would watch out for is that the instructions say you should wait for the pladter to fall off - this I do not recommend! They are so sticky, that can take some considerable time, and the blisters and broken skin below start to smell very unpleasant. I suggest you keep an eye on them! ...

The buzz about Burt
Review of Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme with Vitamin E by
dakota196
Advantages: more effective than cutting with scissors
Disadvantages: thicker than molasses, availability, price
...it with chemicals. As such, Burt's Bees products are perfect and wholesome and lovely. ********The Company
It really did start with a bearded hippy-looking guy named Burt and his bees. He sold honey to make ends meet. Now he's lord of a natural product empire (and apparently still has the hippy-looking beard). Well, empire might be stretching it, but it's a big operation that has stuck firmly to its original principles of natural products and sustainability. ... ...I'm reviewing here is the Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme.
********The tube and its claims
The tube is the colour of butterscotch Angel Delight with Burt's Bees and Foot Creme in red writing. It contains 123g (4.34oz) which seems a little arbitrary and it is 99.7% natural. In the spirit of sustainability, the tube is recyclable (#2 plastics) and, of course, not tested on animals. According to the main paragraph in bold, 'Burt's Bees Coconut Foot ...

Tingling toes
Review of Burt's Bees Foot Crème by
pink_champagne
Advantages: Slightly softer feet, only a little needed
Disadvantages: Pricey, average results
...containing lots of mini sized Burt's Bees products. When my usual foot lotion ran out recently, I got quite excited, as it meant I could start using my tube of Burt's Bees foot lotion! As far as I'm aware there are two types of foot lotion made by Burt's Bees - coconut and peppermint. The one I have, and therefore the one I am reviewing, is the peppermint fragrance.
The lotion comes in a tube with an orangey-yellow background and pictures and writing ... ...in.
Most of the Burt's Bees products are made with mostly natural ingredients, and this one tells me on the front that it is 100% natural, so you know that your skin is not being subjected to any harsh chemicals. There is a long list of ingredients in this lotion - peppermint oil, parsley oil, tea tree oil, menthol, and witch hazel to name just a few. The peppermint oil is very cooling on the skin, which is why it is often used in foot products, ...
