I bought this dvd player off a friend last week, it is silver in colour and has a mecanical draw where you place your dvd disk! it plays DVD's and music cd;s also plays recorded cds and re writable cds also can play mp3 music. it has a really easy to use menu along with still pause which stops it to a frame and is so clear it looks like a photo image! the colour of the player is silver although i belive it is also avalibale in black! a suberbe ... If you have a large DVD collection then one of these will be a excellent addition to your living or cinema rooms. This DVD player takes 300+1 DVD's and allows them to be catalogued in the player, and assigned to a certain genere, this is fantastic when trying to organise 300 DVD's. Had this player for over a year now and has been brilliant all round. Used remote hack to make multi-region and changed video system from PAL to NTSC (hold Pause until display on player flashes) to stop judder on playback. Has played everything I've thrown at it. It did lose it's multi region setting recently but used remote hack to re-set factory settings and then Zoran file burnt to CD to access region setting menu and now fine again. One drawback ...

This DVD player is the one that i have in my lounge and is a great one in my eyes and i think i will have it for years to come. It goes very well with my sony LCD HDready television and was very easy to set up and also very quick. There are a few firmware faults with this model, for example it sometimes won't play a DVD on initial startup and you have to restart the player as it just blue screens. The upscaling quality is good, however I have only my xbox on vga connection to compare it to.
