I've been looking for a divx player for a while now, and wanted one with multi region capability also. I eventually bought this dvd player from amazon.co.uk, as it was clearly labelled 'multi region'. Reading the reviews on amazon, some said it was multi region straight out of the box. ...is multi region, but my tv was not understanding the video format of the region 1 disc. A simple solution I discovered is simply to change the colour settings on the dvd menu (when there is no disc in it) to RGB. Having achieved this, I am now a very happy customer! I bought this dvd player off a friend last week, it is silver in colour and has a mecanical draw where you place your dvd disk! it plays DVD's and music cd;s also plays recorded cds and re writable cds also can play mp3 music. it has a really easy to use menu along with still pause which stops it to a frame and is so clear it looks like a photo image! the colour of the player is silver although i belive it is also avalibale in black! a suberbe ... Disadvantages: Periodically loses multi-region, no USB access from remote

Had this player for over a year now and has been brilliant all round. Used remote hack to make multi-region and changed video system from PAL to NTSC (hold Pause until display on player flashes) to stop judder on playback. Has played everything I've thrown at it. It did lose it's multi region setting recently but used remote hack to re-set factory settings and then Zoran file burnt to CD to access region setting menu and now fine again. One drawback ...

This DVD player is the one that i have in my lounge and is a great one in my eyes and i think i will have it for years to come. It goes very well with my sony LCD HDready television and was very easy to set up and also very quick.
