Great value for money, does what its supposed to
Advantages: Good quality unit, top quality recording, versatile with blank media
Disadvantages: Badly designed remote, can be slow to respond when starting up
I have a freeview box with a built in hard drive which is excellent for recording programs at the touch of a button, however, what happens if those programs want to be watched by my friends at their house? I have to record to VHS which is rubbish quality ...

Advantages: Guide+ (when it works), big hard drive, HD upscaling
Disadvantages: poor DVD burning, slow interface, regulary locks up and recordings fail
