A safe fryer
Review of Hinari DFF140 by
blannad
Advantages: Compact
Disadvantages: nothing
Here I go again and hopefully this review will help people undestand the quality of this deep fat fryer. I bought this fryer six months ago and must say that I have never looked back, this fryer is made of stainless steel and holds a capacity of 2litres of oil, there is a temperature switch which you can have on if you want to leave it while preparing your food, or you can put it to the highest tempetature for quick frying. Another aspect of this ... ...the oil and cleaning and not worring about the electrics. The lid itself is also removable, and it does not cause as much steam as your regular fryer, which I find does not steam your kitchen up and it does not create a smell of oil. It takes very little time to heat up and the food is crisp what you would expect from a good deep fryer. When wanting to store your fryer ,situated at the back is a small area for the lead to be fed into for convience. ...

Anyone for chips :-)
Review of Cooks Kitchen Auction by
sminshulls
Advantages: Easy to clean.
Disadvantages: None, so far.
I bought this fryer because I loved the idea of been able to take it apart to clean it. After many years of struggling to keep a traditional deep fat fryer clean I couldn't wait to test drive this one.
I wasn't disappointed, after removing the power section, the oil tray comes out and the basket, lid, oil tray and wall of fryer can be washed in soapy water. The only drawback is trying to keep the power supply part clean but the rest looks as good ... ...supply part is not advisable, although wiping with a cloth removes any dust but not all the grease stains. As for operating the fryer, this is very easy. There are a number of temperature settings with icons to show which foods (chips, fish, chicken, etc) require which temperature. Thermostat control prevents fryer from getting too hot and is indictaed by a light. Light is red when oil is heating then turns green when oil is hot enough to use. There ...

Bush Deep Fat Fryer model FC026
Review of Bush FC026 by
welshwickedone
Advantages: Great, easy cleaning , value for money
Disadvantages: None so far
Bush Deep Fat Fryer Chrome FC026.
------------------------------------------------------------
Yet again, the time came for one of my beloved small kitchen appliances to take itself into retirement last week after five years loyal service. Now do not get me wrong the appliance served me well and in my opinion gave a good loyal service for a deep fat fryer. Time for another shopping venture, which I was not envying at this time of year, so I thought ... ...half price offer on the Bush FC026 Deep Fat Fryer. It was on offer for £24.99 reduced from £49.99 and I liked the appearance of the fryer straight away. This particular Bush Fryer is also available in silver/black and has a separate code FC026SIL however; this one was only reduced to £28.99 and in my opinion was not as nice in appearance as the chrome model.
I placed my order immediately as I wanted to insure they had stock and I was luck and whilst ...

==Kenwood DF520==
Review of Kenwood DF520 by
travellinggardener
Advantages: Good to cook with. Easy to clean.
Disadvantages: Rather large to store.
Kenwood DF520
I have found this fryer to be an efficient addition to my kitchen. It is rather bulky so advisable to have a cupboard to store it in, for, if you are like me, it will only be used on a few occassions. It cooks well with a good range of temperatures and has a reasonable sized basket for the food to be cooked. It is rather spoilt by the viewing window becoming hard to see through once cooking has commenced as it appears to steam ...
