Bush Deep Fat Fryer model FC026
Review of Bush FC026 by welshwickedone

Advantages: Great, easy cleaning , value for money
Disadvantages: None so far

Bush Deep Fat Fryer Chrome FC026. ------------------------------------------------------------ Yet again, the time came for one of my beloved small kitchen appliances to take itself into retirement last week after five years loyal service. Now do not get me wrong the appliance served me well and in my opinion gave a good loyal service for a deep fat fryer. Time for another shopping venture, which I was not envying at this time of year, so I thought ...
...half price offer on the Bush FC026 Deep Fat Fryer. It was on offer for £24.99 reduced from £49.99 and I liked the appearance of the fryer straight away. This particular Bush Fryer is also available in silver/black and has a separate code FC026SIL however; this one was only reduced to £28.99 and in my opinion was not as nice in appearance as the chrome model. I placed my order immediately as I wanted to insure they had stock and I was luck and whilst ... Read review

No Not a Deep Fat Fryer
Review of Kenwood DF380 by hazle

Advantages: Quick and easy
Disadvantages: A bit greasy

This was a joint present for my self and hubby but I think he will use it more than I will. It has been used about 6 times, and out of those 6 I think I have used it once. I think once the novelty wears off, he won't use it as much. I know that deep fat fryers are one of the most unhealthy ways to cook things, but they are handy to have. For a start chips taste much better when cooked in a deep fat fryer, (and I don't mean from the chip shop, much ...
...home. Chips will probably be the only thing that gets cooked in it. Ok so enough about me, I will get on with the product review. Now this was a present from my mum and dad, and I think mum got the idea after I saw hers and said that must be so easy to clean. And it is so easy to clean, as it comes almost completely to bits. So what do you get? The instruction manual is very small and not a huge amount of information with it, but there really is ... Read review

A good fryer guaranteed to make you fat!
Review of Morphy Richards 45470 by hollypopple

Advantages: Good quality, high capacity, variable temperature
Disadvantages: Oil evaporates onto the units above it

I bought this deep fat fryer just over a year ago from Amazon.co.uk for about £50. It is a very good quality fryer with variable temperature control up to 190 degrees, and is an attractive brushed steel design. There is also an on-off button and a red indicator light which turns off when the required temperature has been reached. The basket can hold about 1.2kg of food, which is slightly more than most domestic fryers. It is very effective and cooks ...
...packs away neatly as the handle folds cleverly inside without touching the oil, so that the removable lid can cover it. You have to wait for several hours after using it before it is cool enough to put the lid back on. The main bowl lifts out for easy cleaning and the basket is dishwasher safe. The remaining parts have to be washed in the sink. The only problem I have experienced with this fryer is that you cannot use the lid while it is in use, ... Read review

don't forget the spuds
Review of Moulinex AKG531 Supra by agapanthus

Advantages: compact with good capacity
Disadvantages: cannot remove filter or bowl to clean, need to place near an extractor as odour and vapour not controlled

...we came home with a Moulinex silver and black rather attractive number, along with the requisite bag of potatoes from our local supermarket. After 3 attempts at badly peeling and preparing chips (cutting decent looking chips is not all that easy) and managing to firstly burn, then undercook and finally get it exactly right, I thought, hang on, wouldn't it have been easier to have bought a traditional fryer you just put on the hob. Well, being a little ...
...as I cook, I think that for safety reasons alone, a stand alone contained fat fryer is the better option, no matter what make you're looking for. Anyway, here's the lowdown on what this fryer offers: thermostatic temperature settings (160,170,180,190 dishwasher safe basket 1.2kg capacity (enough for 2 large portions, or 4 small) permanent metal filter clear viewing window nice black and chrome look on/off switch with led easy open lid So ... Tefal Actifry fz 7000
Review of Tefal FZ 7000 Actifry by caringkim

Advantages: healthier, removable inner for washing up
Disadvantages: initial cost for some people
