I bought this fryer because I loved the idea of been able to take it apart to clean it. After many years of struggling to keep a traditional deep fat fryer clean I couldn't wait to test drive this one. I wasn't disappointed, after removing the power section, the oil tray comes out and the basket, lid, oil tray and wall of fryer can be washed in soapy water. The only drawback is trying to keep the power supply part clean but the rest looks as good ...

This deep fat fryer is a good all rounder, it is a good looker,is easy to clean,and is big enough to cook for all five of us in one load. Kenwood DF520 I have found this fryer to be an efficient addition to my kitchen. It is rather bulky so advisable to have a cupboard to store it in, for, if you are like me, it will only be used on a few occassions.
