...boys I have found the Delonghi F600 "chips with everything" deep fat fryer useful, if not an absolute necessity in my kitchen. It is a must for chips, as well as chicken, mushrooms, onion rings and anything else that can be fried (and usually is when used by the boys). It does have a variable thermostat, which is a definite plus along with the volume of food that can be cooked. Another advantage with this fryer is that it has coolwall. I have gone through a few deep fat fryers (mainly because instead of cleaning it I just get a new one!!!) Anyway at the moment I have this one and so far I am impressed with it, even without a timer. I have had a few deep fat fryers in my time and always hated the thought of cleaning them well when i found this one i was delighted.
