Advantages: Keeps you cool, cheap to run on of the best environmentally
Disadvantages: Still emits c02, adds to overall power drain, needs a pipe outside

Delonghi De Humidifier
Advantages: Easy to move around rooms and easy to use
Disadvantages: Some people find it too noisey but I don't mind
I bought this primarily for the Bathroom as I don't have an extractor fan and I though this would be a good idea to remove the excess water.
Yes I know you arent meant to use in a bathroom, but the plug is out in the hall so it's fairley safe!

I have bought one of these as my flat was constantly damp, and was causing damage to walls, furniture and clothes. My windows were always condensed. I live in a 2 bedroom flat on the first floor, and this problem wasn't as bad as last year.
