Apple iMac G3.. its clear
Review of Apple iMac Indigo - PPC G3 500 MHz - 15" CRT by
jossie
Advantages: Compact, user friendly and designer!
Disadvantages: Pricey and 'un-customisable'
...exclusivity... the fact that only Apple make them (as I'm aware).
P.S. I've never had to deal with customer support directly from Apple so dont know hoe good it is.. they're website is very good though with loads of info on their products, for current users and for customer support (upgrades, patches, faq's etc) ...

I work, rest, and play with my G4 400MHZ
Review of Apple Power Mac G4 - PPC G4 450 MHz by
Freelancealot
Advantages: User Friendly, less virus attacks!
Disadvantages: Expensive, no floppy
...HD with CD-ROM and an Apple 17" CRT Monitor (the one on tripod feet) over a year ago off E-bay. I love it so much I called him Albert!
I spent 10 years working on computers, starting on a Wang(!), and then progressing to pc 486's, etc. I finally saw the light when I went into Publishing, and used my first Apple Mac, a 6100/66. I've never turned back.
Not only are the G4s stylish to look at, they're practical too! I have never opened up a computer ... ...half use that! If you've seen Windows XP and liked it, you'll find the Apple OS a joy to use (it's my opinion ol' B Gates has been doing some thinking).
I run a Virtual Assistant business from home, and I use my Mac for work and for play. ...

Good for the price
Review of Apple Power Mac G4 Cube - PPC G4 450 MHz by
peter_pan13
Advantages: fast,good GUI
Disadvantages: expensive, less software to support
...faster speed. For those people, apple is their only choice. If they use PC, the color will not be displayed correctly. I will bring trouble for publishing. The apple's GUI and the apperance design are all far more better then other operation system and other desktop computer. It can be called a art, not a commercial product.
So, on average, Apple is farely good for its price. ...

Mac tower review
Review of Apple Power Mac G4 - PPC G4 733 MHz by
punkyD
Advantages: Fast Clean Easy to access upgrages
Disadvantages: old ppc architecture large
I personally have all ppc g4's in my house and the 775 MHz is so faster its like 1.25Ghz. Also these macs never loose any of there value and you can resell the mac if you wish not to keep it in the future. The macs design is unlike any other PC on the market i have seen. Also the mac is brilliant because of its easy access to all the upgrades you would ever need to do if you so wish so. All Macs from G3 to the intel macs come with USB's this is a ...

Emac - a Fruity little number!
Review of Apple eMac PPC G4 800 MHz - 17" CRT by
steveash
Advantages: Looks great, works great, doesn't crash.
Disadvantages: Pretty but badly designed mouse. That's it!
...and straight forward.
Using Apple computers every day for work and pleasure I never tire of their simple, well thought out design. I bought my eMac when I left my job and started up business on my own. I am a grphic designer and already had an older G3 Mac but needed something up to date but not too expensive. The eMac fitted the bill perfectly. The monitor is big and sharp enough to work with and the processor is fast enough for anything bar high ... ...to be dropped from the Apple range after the introduction of the tiny, similarly spec'ed, sans-monitor Mac Mini. The computer manufacturers continue to make faster machines but really I can't see the benefits outweighing the costs for me to upgrade. The eMac is fast enough for most professional and consumer users. So... get yourself a cheap stock clearance eMac, pop in some extra memory, ditch the mouse for a Microsoft Explorer or Logitech MX and ...
