Review of Dell Dimension 2400 - P4 2.4 GHz - 15" TFT by

Advantages: no middle man
Disadvantages: can become expensive
I first bought my Dell Dimension 2400 series last year. Me and my friend Emma had been messing around on the Internet and came across dells website. We had a look at the computers and I basically chose the cheapest one there. I never expected to get finance for it as I have a really bad credit rating so really we were just messing. It was really easy to browse on the website you chose the computer you want then on each next page there was a list ... ...2002

Dell Computer Corporation
Dell Dimension dim2400
Intel®
Pentium ® CPU 2.80ghz
2.79 Ghz
256 MB ram
The computer came with free double memory. CONCLUSION
The people at dell were really good although they are a foreign company and every call centre I spoke to was a foreign exchange board. It was all done really quickly and easily once I had done all my forms they sorted out the rest of the stuff. The computer costs me £18 ...

Dell Dimension 2400
Review of Dell Dimension 2400 - P4 2.4 GHz - 17" CRT by

Advantages: Monitor, Business, Keyboard, Look.
Disadvantages: Slow, Heavy, Space taker.
Well the Dell Dimension 2400 I could say is pretty good for business purposes. Dell does let you customize it but its more of a business system. Its not really all that fast, it has two ram slots no agp slot. Which means no video card, which means no high quality good games. How ever I recommend this system for typing, at home jobs, and for searching purposes. Pretty good size monitor but thats about it. Works with windows xp and lower O.S.

Dell computers are APPALING by anyones standards
Review of Dell Dimension 2400 - P4 2.4 GHz - 17" CRT by

Advantages: No advantages of having a Dell computer
Disadvantages: Everything
Dell is one of the leading computer manufacturers but still they don't make their computers for the advanced users. The Dell Dimension has a 2.4Ghz Pentium 4 processor (without HT technology!), a pathetic 40Gb hard drive, and a pathetic 256Mb stick of RAM. I will say this computer is ok for a beginner but for anyone wanting more from your pc, never buy a Dell computer in your life. Read on and you will find out why.
My experience with the Dell Dimension ... ...about them. I got my Dell Dimension 2400 for a Christmas present about 3 years ago and I will be honest with you I was very pleased with it at the time but as time went on and I got a lot more experienced and older I wanted more. I had many problems with the computer; the motherboard does not have an AGP slot for the new graphics cards that are out now. The processor does not have hyper threading technology so it is not as fast as it can be at processing ...

ONLY BUY DELL IF YOU ON A LIMITED BUDGET
Review of Dell Dimension 2400 - P4 2.8 GHz - 17" TFT by

Advantages: You get what you pay for.
Disadvantages: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN'T UNDERSTAND A THING THEY ARE SAYING
...Don't get me wrong, the computer has been a pleasure but if I had known about the crappy Customer service I would have never have ordered. I believe (although a great item and deal) the sole reason for me never buying a dell again will be the customer service. ...

Dell Dimension
Review of Dell Dimension 2400c - C 2.2 GHz - 15" TFT by
harveyatkinson
Advantages: good value, basic pc for home and basic office use
Disadvantages: low memory and could find it hard to cope with newer software
I use this machine at work and it is a good work horse machine, although it is a little dated now it is still able to keep up with the latest software and add ons. However it is connected to a main server, so this machine would be ideal for small business use. Definately check it out but you may want to consider spending a little more for more memory and other enlargements. I have found that it is ok to burn CD's, present power point presentations ... ...other cool stuff. However I would suggest that this be used with a broad band connection as this helps speed things up.
Overall a good basic machine, that offers value for money, but look for a machine with bigger specifications if you want to use more up to date programmes and such like. ...
