this is so good!
Review of Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz - 24" TFT by Scalawag

Advantages: Stable OS platform, fast, powerful, and looks absolutely stunning.
Disadvantages: Cost but you do get what you pay for

...not difficult to sort out, apple store sorted it out within 30 secounds of me speaking to their staff. Great all round experience. I have upgraded the ram to 4Gb, I found loads of better deals than the upgrade offered by apple (its a bit extortionate when you see how much cheaper the same memory can be obtained elsewhere). Memory was easy to replace took me about 3 mins. This is the only upgrade for this system so no future mucking about with new ...
...system! The system itself is lightning fast, comes with iLife which will cover most of your needs, I also bought iWork for an extra £55 which is kind of like office but looks much better and still does what most users will need. I still have a PC laptop, but can't wait to change it for a mac also. Can't see me ever going back to a PC now, the Mac experience is just so much more complete and so much less frustrating. ... Dell PowerEdge 2950, universal server
Review of Dell PowerEdge 2950 by koobra

Advantages: Very easy to set up and maintain
Disadvantages: Can't see any

...Edge is main line of Dell servers. 2950 is most universal base server from that line. If you are not sure what spec should your server have, just order it with one dual core CPU (1333MHz bus, not 1066; makes big difference), RAID5, three HDDs and 2GB of RAM (in two sticks preferably), two power supplies (it's server, reliability is it's second name). You may find, that it's actually all you need. If not, thanks to superb case and internal build ...
...with minimum 3 years next business day onsite response warranty but it can be upgraded (althow it cost a lot more). From personal experience I have to say that Dell server support is very good. Shipped with rack rails, Dell 'Systems Management Console' and 'Service and Diagnostic Utilities' (very handy). ... Read review

Powerhouse, budget gamer's dream!
Review of Dell XPS 420 by BoyEngland

Advantages: Can play the latest games, fast boot-up, reliable, runs cool, runs quietly
Disadvantages: Price is a little steep, not all games are compatible with Quad Core processors

...built XPS 420 directly from Dell which contains a 2.40GHz Quad Core processor, 4GB RAM, an Nvidia GeForce 9800GT, and all the other good stuff a computer needs. I ordered it late night on a Sunday, and I had it setup and working by the Thursday. Best of all? Shipping was free! Between pressing the power button and the computer being ready to use, you are looking at around 30 seconds. This includes me entering my password to log on. I see this as ...
...hadn't been for the current Dell offer and a discount code I had at the time. I will admit, I wouldn't have paid £920 for the system, no chance! Since starting the computer for the first time, I haven't had a single problem with it that wasn't caused by a faulty disk or my lack of patience. I would recommend it to anyone, even gamers. ...
