a great fast and cheap pc. Purchased this recently for a low £350 and completly blew me away as this is much faster than previous. Installation was easy and very short. Its dual core with 1.86Ghz each can cope with many programs open at once, and its ATI graphics card can support some very powerful games. This is one reason i purchased this. The is one major problem there is no floppy drive so you cannot wipe the computer and I bet (if you are a computer genius) your shouting get an external floppy drive..I've tried it and the BIOS does not recognise it. ...you need to ring up Packard Bell and ask for the "master cd's" they will send you some cd's but the call charge is 75p* a min. That is on a BT standard line. The computer has a sound card built in and some speakers right across the front of the monitor. It is not very easy to open up and it is very very hard to get an exact motherboard. ...etc. The keyboard is a Packard Bell Activboard which has buttons for quick access to things like the Packard bell website. I did have problems with the drivers for the keyboard and I never used any of the buttons as they are at the back and on the keyboard tray that means they are unreachable. i have used my packard bell iconnect pc since 1999 i now also have a iconnect 2800i which i have networked together with the other one. both my pcs have never given me any trouble the reboot system is fast and reliable and parts are easy to replace i have owned other pcs and they have lasted no more than two or three years. ...round, the whole unit is a sort of brushed aluminum colour and my favorite bit is the small brushed aluminum keyboard, which has nice sized buttons and a nice feel to it (ie not big and chunky keys) The IMac loads up in no time, unlike a Windows machine and within less than say 30 seconds you are ready to go.
