We bought ours in 2001 and its still going strong in 2006 ! We bought a camera of this quality as it was as expense as having a wedding photographer. The other reason is that wedding photographers may not allow you to have the pictures in soft copy as they own the copyright. This camera has been to a few countrys by car and plane. I bought this camera about a year and a half ago to take to Australia for a 5 week trip. I agonised about which camera to buy, did I want a small one, one with a big screen, one with as many megapixels as possible?
