The Nikon D300 will currently set you back around £1000 in the UK, and that's without the glass on the front. My review here might seem technical to some, but that's not an amount of money most people part with lightly. This is a great camera to use - easy and comfortable to hold without being too heavy and built solidly enough that bumping and knocking about do not even scratch or dent the surface. Compared to other cameras that I have used this one operates very quickly - both in taking pictures and saving them. Instructions are easy to follow and I found within an hour I could easily operate this quickly and efficiently without any queries on which buttons ...

Information on camera settings can be viewed through the viewfinder - so I found I could change all my settings whilst still focusing on an image. I have been more than happy with his reccomendation ever since, having found the camera very easy to use, but also capable of taking very high quality photographs.
