Well done Sony
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W15 by dollydimple24

Advantages: Easy to understand
Disadvantages: Quite big in comparison to others

I bought the Sony CyberShot DSC-W15 in June this year to go on my family holiday. I'm not that bright with cameras, I need to point & press & I expect the camera to do all the work for me. Luckily for me, the CyberShot is brilliant at just that. There are, of course, lots of fancy features too, some of which I have mastered, the video recording worked really well at a recent Robbie Williams concert. In my usual style I have also dropped the camera ... Read review

Nikon Coolpix - thumbs up
Review of Nikon Coolpix P5100 by cha1ching

Advantages: Easily handleable and extensive pre-programmed settings.
Disadvantages: Slightly slow at taking the pictures at times.

...of taking out my SLR Nikon D70 to places i don' want to lug a large camera around. It is small, pocketable, sturdy and easy to handle. The pre-programmed settings in "scene" are excellent with a good range to choose from. I think there is a need for short cuts though as there are quite a few to scroll through. It was essential to me to have a screen and a view finder as screens are so tricky to use in sunlight. It has taken a while to get the hang ... Read review

Advantages: No more blurry images
Disadvantages: No view finder

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX9 is a great little 6M camera full of handy features with an optical zoom of 3x with a possible 4.1x. It has a very large clear LCD display so you can share your photos with your friends without printing off. There is a great selection of preset scene modes e.g. Portrait Sports Food Night Scenery Night Portrait Baby Soft skin Candlelight Fireworks Party Snow Starry Sky Self Portrait There is also a macro mode ...
...You have the option of shooting in 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 mode, which is great if you want to display the photos on your widescreen TV (cables supplied). This camera works great as a simple point and shoot, or for the more advanced you can manually adjust: White Balance ISO sensitivity aspect ratio Picture size quality AF mode shutter speed colour effect picture adjustment. The cameras Image stabilization system has got to be the best feature with ... Read review

Canon Digital IXUS
Review of Canon Digital IXUS 860 IS by Ceenguyen

Advantages: Clear images, auto focus, brilliant video playback.
Disadvantages: A little bit heavy.

...clearer than the Sony T10. For those that want a slim camera, i advise to buy the Sony series or the Canon Digital IXUS I Zoom which is so cute! And for those that don't mind, this camera is definitely the one to buy for those that love taking pictures. ... Read review

Looks cheap, serves great!
Review of BenQ DC-T700 by hauran

Advantages: Touch screen
Disadvantages: Plastic chasiss

BenQ T700 is very slimm photocamera with resolution 7mpx. Surface is plastic but it is not looking cheap. Anyway i thought it is a standard to have metal chasiss for photocameras. Design is pretty good in my opinion and colors are decent. Photocamera does not have a stabiliyator but i have to rate the objective high while i saw photos made by this device. Why i want to strongly reccoment this photocamera is the display - BenQ T700 has got 3" touch ...
...only via BenQ cabel since it is not miniUSB connector. Battery is good and good is also that SD cards are used, because they are most wide-spread so i can use one SD card in all my devices. But it is not special because majority of photocameras uses SD cards. ... Read review
