Diamond review   I felt cool when I picked the 880
Review of Nikon Coolpix 880 by Handonheart

Advantages: Amazing macro pictures
Disadvantages: Battery life isn't long

...~ Continuous Shooting modes Nikon were fairly generous with this camera when it came to the high-speed modes. There is a movie clip setting - this isn't great and doesn't include sound. Video clips suffer from jerky movement and it seems to record the video as very fast still images rather than allowing motion blur to occur which helps to smooth things out. This could have advantages if you are analysing a movie clip as each frame is going to have ...
...cards, spare batteries and the Nikon filter kit that I bought seperately. On the side of the camera is the usb connector port, power in connector and wrpping around the die to the back is the cover for the memory card. This feels substantial and doesn't show signs of breaking. The camera can take compact flash (type 1 only) memory cards. On the bottom of the camera is the battery compartment and tripod screw thread. I find this slightly worrying ... Read review

A true replacement for professional 35mm cameras
Review of Nikon D100 by tomo1k

Advantages: Full control over all aspects of photography, True SLR, interchangable lenses, metal body
Disadvantages: Expensive! This camera is for pro and semi-pro photographers, not the amateurs!

...built-in flash (or Speedlight as Nikon call it), and well over a thousand if the flash is not used (using a CompactFlash card for storage - Microdrives require more power and reduce battery life accordingly) The battery charges from flat in well under three hours and takes only a couple of seconds to swap out. The images are suitable for enlargement up to approximately 18"x12" - beyond this you may start to see some pixellation. If you generally ... Read review

Happy snapping with the D300
Review of Nikon D300 by Jobanjos

Advantages: Competitively priced and packed with new features
Disadvantages: None! Any disadvantages would be entirely personal

The Nikon D300 will currently set you back around £1000 in the UK, and that's without the glass on the front. My review here might seem technical to some, but that's not an amount of money most people part with lightly. I don't apologise for putting some basic spec in the review, after all, if you're considering buying this camera, it's exactly what you need to know before getting out your wallet. If you're after a camera that will take good quality ...
...said, my review of the Nikon D300 contains some specifications and technical speak, as well as my own experience of using the camera. I haven't covered everything, as that would take forever, but I've aimed to cover some of the more important and useable features. ***What's in the Box?*** D300 body, including body cap, LCD monitor cover and eyepiece cap EN-EL3e rechargeable Li-ion battery with terminal cover MH-18a quick charger and power cable ... Following the Nikon Tradition
Review of Nikon D70 by BlackCatProm

Advantages: well made, handles well, ease of use, multi-featured, reliable
Disadvantages: fiddly to change features until used to system

The Nikon D70 follows in the Nikon tradition. It is a digital camera that handles like the superb professional cameras its shape and features are based upon. The build quality and handling are superb. This is a camera that I, as a former photographer and still taking pics to sell, am happy to use and be confident it won't let me down. At the best quality setting, which I always use, using a 1Gb Flash Memory Card, it will porduce 291 images, all of ...
...plate film cameras. The Nikon D70 gets me back to the tried and trusted 35mm camera format with many added plus facilities. Once you get used to the system, you can change the film speed in seconds. The auto-focus can be set to the spot or area you chose, again in seconds, and works fast enough to keep up with shooting the 3 frames per second the D70 will keep up for as long as you are likely to ever need it. Just set to the action mode and keep ... Read review

Panasonic Lumix DMC FS3-Simple and quality
Review of Panasonic Lumix DMC FS3 by Foxy1212

Advantages: value, zoom, features
Disadvantages: probably not to good for advanced photography

...and he reccomended me this panasonic lumix camera. I have been more than happy with his reccomendation ever since, having found the camera very easy to use, but also capable of taking very high quality photographs. I would reccomend this above Samsung and Fuji cameras I have had in the past. The zoom is excellent, very defined, and the camera offers a burst feature, which allows you to take a series of photos, excellent for a moving object, and ...
...than £80 equivalent I am very pleased to have chosen this camera, as for someone who wants photos of travels and everyday life, it has more than i need, but is not at all confusing. It also comes in a range of colours so you can customise it as you wish, and once bought you will be snapping away without having to carry the manual with you for when you get confused. ...
