Advantages: Takes good pictures
Disadvantages: Lacks an optical viewfinder

I have just bought a HP Camera. Its the Photosmart M737 model and finished in a lovely silver colour. The casing itself is hard plastic but also very lightweight to carry. One thing you will notice thats different is that it lacks an optical viewfinder. Therefore when you are framing pictures, you will need to rely on the bright, clear and very large 2.5 inch colour screen on the rear. ...strong carry strap. It takes 2 AA type batteries which means they dont recharge internally as a lot of modern cameras do. A set of batteries seem to last around 100 average type pictures. ...of the camera to charge. HP do sell an "easy charge" kit for £20 but all the kit contains is a normal AA battery charger that you can buy for about £5 and a flimsy carry case. At least taking AA batteries it can easily be replaced when the batteries run out but i think they missed a big opening by not providing a battery that charges in camera. ...and he reccomended me this panasonic lumix camera. I have been more than happy with his reccomendation ever since, having found the camera very easy to use, but also capable of taking very high quality photographs. I would reccomend this above Samsung and Fuji cameras I have had in the past.
