Advantages: Good clear images
Disadvantages: bulky and big

I first bought this camera as a replacement to the ever so annoying Canon A20. It was relatively cheap at the time, around £199.99, now it is around £149.99, which is reasonable. Disadvantages: quite large, can be fiddly, pathetic memory.

A £200 camera for £20, means that this camera retailed at around £200 when it was purchased. The funny thing is, although camera technology has come a long way in 3 or so years this camera still persists to work solidly and produce good quality crisp pictures, let down only by a troublesome photo printer. ...have on occasions found it fiddly as i have clumsy fingers. The "quick" button allows you to view your last photo and keep on shooting straight away, which is handy. the single biggest draw back as with any digital camera is the memory, it came with something like 8mb, however slip a 64mb card in and all is well. I've had this camera since 2004 and it's been great! It's a lot bigger than the average digital camera you get these days but if you're looking for a basic first camera it does exactly what is says on the tin for a good price. The one big disadvantage I've struggled with is the sutter release speed due to the auto-focus function. I have been more than happy with his reccomendation ever since, having found the camera very easy to use, but also capable of taking very high quality photographs. I would reccomend this above Samsung and Fuji cameras I have had in the past.
