Advantages: Simple to use and produces great images
Disadvantages: Does not have a manual view finder (which would be of use in the dark)

Disadvantages: Uses Quicktime software for the movies (very minor quibble)

Firstly, I am a graphic artist, and also know a lot about photography, having owned SLR cameras with full lens filter kits/tripods etc back in the day before digital cameras. Advantages: Good pictures, quite easy to use, good zoom
Disadvantages: lens cover isn't good, big and bulky, labels are confusing

I got this camera a few years ago and since then it has been nothing but good. First of all it takes good photos, but it is also quite easy to use but some of the labels on it are quite confusing. Another bad thing is that the lens cover isn't very well designed and breaks quite easily and didn't really stay on much to start with.
