Great though bulky camera
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE P880 by bllward

Advantages: Fantastic pictures, and looks impressive
Disadvantages: Bulky, more expensive than a point-and-click camera

I bought one opf these that had been manufacturer refurbished, after a disasterous trip to Italy with a cheap camera that ruined all our photos. I was attracted to this camera because it seemed to have a good mix of features for a good price. I used the camera for the first time at center parcs, and even though there is a steepish learning curve with it, I managed to take a lot of decent pictures with it. It is what is called a "bridge" camera, ...
...camera and a semiprofessionsl DSLR camera. With 8 megapixels, the pictures it takes have plenty of details with sharp definition. The different modes were also very helpful, when I put it in sports mode I was able to take some very good pictures of fast moving squirrels and doormice! Another feature i (over)used was the macro mode. It enables you to take pictures of objects close up and give you a great depth of field. All in all, a great camera ... Read review

Good camera with lots of potenital
Review of Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S600 by adambenclegg

Advantages: Simple and takes high quality pictures.
Disadvantages: No macro mode

I got this camera as an inbetween camera when mine died. I decided to keep it and it was an excellent decision. The camera has wide range of standard functions and different modes. Some of this are quite complicated but 'Auto' works excellent none the less. The camera is pretty functional and pretty easy to figure out. Another advantage of this camera is that it uses AA batteries, rather than a camera specific battery. One drawback however is that ... Read review

Nikon D80
Review of Nikon D80 by wikirapid

Advantages: Best Feature in Great Price
Disadvantages: None

...of fantastic picture quality. The Nikon D80 is an enthusiast's dream and is incredibly rewarding to use. I had always a dream of buying Nikon D200 but with the release of D80 in much more economical price and the features somehow same to the D200, I was impressed. It has a new and improved 10.2-megapixel image sensor. It is an interesting mix of point-and-shoot and serious camera, Nikon's D80 has been touted as a 'little sister' to the D200 model ... Good Camera > Bad Photographer!!!
Review of Kodak EASYSHARE M753 by littlemissloud

Advantages: Auto makes it easy to use
Disadvantages: Some times all the settings confusing (stick to auto!!!)

...quality at a good price. Kodak is an easily recognised brand and therefore in my opinion reliable. I bought the M753 fot £79.99 from argos about 4 1/2 months ago. i have found it easy to use with an array of different settings. I particularly use the colour change feature a lot (b/w ect.) I have at times felt a little overwhelemed with the number of settings and tend to stick to auto as im am not entirely sure how effective some of the settings ... Read review

OUTSTANDING!
Review of Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z75 by reviewqueen84

Advantages: Slim, great picture quality, re-charge function
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

I've had this camera about 6 months now and I can quite honestly say The picture quality and zoom function is second to none. With loads of quirky functions and a you tube video mode which means you can upload videos without any conversions. Versatile and easy to use - can find your way around this camera without even opening the instruction manual (if you are like me of course and always too impatient). The fact that this camera comes with a chargeable ...
...more standing around changing batteries that cost you a fortune in the first place. Takes loads of photos before battery gets low even with the flash on and in video mode it last's ages! This is a little camera which packs a punch and you won't find a better value camera of this quality for cheaper! Well impressed! Go buy one! ... Read review
