OLYMPUS CAMEDIA C7070WZ EXCELLENT PROSUMMER CAMERA
Review of Olympus CAMEDIA C 7070 Wide Zoom by
BLACKDIAMOND321
Advantages: EXCELLENT PICTURE QUALITY, EASY TO USE, GREAT LENS, METAL CONSTRUCTION
Disadvantages: POOR FOCUSING IN LOW LIGHT
I have owned Olympus brand cameras before and the usually good performance made me select this 7.1 megapixel camera. I was not too impressed with its looks but what impressed me was the number of features available. Also the camera has an excellent lens and a robust metal body. The supplied battery lasts for ages. The monitor may be stored facing the back of the camera for protection. I had no problems using this camera. The manual although good ... ...Although fitted with a focus illuminator for low light the camera often failed to focus particularly at the telephoto setting. Image quality is consistantly high with good contrast and colour balance. It is possible to set the contrast, colour balance and brightness as well as other settings on the camera. Apart from the poor focusing in low light it is a great camera and it is only this that makes me give only a good rating rather than excellent. ...

Review of Olympus CAMEDIA C 70ZOOM by
KerrieW
Advantages: Easy to use, compact.
Disadvantages: No underwater casing available
Being an avid photographer it took me a long time to plunge from 35mm to digital, and longer again to go from SLR to compact... however I struck gold when I made this purchase.
My poor digital slr has taken a back seat to this convenient, compact and easy to use olympus. Its easy to use as a point and shoot but also great if you like to play with your images and use manual settings
The image quality, even at full zoom, is excellent, infact I have ...

FE-210
Review of Olympus FE-210 by
NamCat
Advantages: Excellent value for money, Hardwearing,
Disadvantages: Need rechargables to get best out of battery life
...swayed by brand power but Olympus has been a brand that I've trusted ever since I started taking pictures. Even though sometimes it can't compete on a digital plane with Canon and Kodak etc. it still retains a basic understanding of how cameras should work.
For example, with many other digital camera there is a lot of editing potential on the camera itself such as Sepia and colour toning and borders and cropping and so forth. This camera doesn't ... ...refined and user friendly. Another feature that impressed me was the user guide on the camera - most people, including myself, don't read the instructions and try and figure it out myself. However I've used the quick manual on the camera on several occasions when I wanted to create particular effect.
I would advise anyone new to digital photography to get this camera because of the ease of use and the fair pricing. A good all round camera. ...

Minolta DiMAGE Xt
Review of Minolta DiMAGE Xt by
astoupp
Advantages: Daylight photos and battery
Disadvantages: Night photos
This machine will be your best friend. Especially if you don't have a mobile that take photos. You can carry with you easy cause to the small size. Perfect image colours for the daylight photos but not the same for the night especially if you try to take photo people further than 2 meters due to the week flash.
The battery last longer than other cameras cause the optical zoom is internal (Minolta pattern) and the LCD screen at the back is small(less ... ...that last with less money is a good selection. Definitely there are better cameras with better night photos. But is difficult to find any camera to take photos at night. Tip for nights photos don't use the flash. Press the button for photo and wait . Try this to take photo a town from above at night. It needs 30 second to take a photo like that but the result is perfect. Have fun. ...

Definately recommended
Review of Samsung Digimax S700 by
SoppySista
Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Too many features to explore
...buying iot to replace another Samsung one that broke after dropping it a few too many times. This one seems to be slightly sturdier, and unlike many camera now, it is not too thin and delicate that you think that you will break it. The screen is quite big, so you can see the pictures quite clearly before loading them onto the computer, and also you havw the facility to crop your photos when looking at them on the screen. There are many features on ... ...a normal photo is easy to do, with good qualtiy photos, and a very good zoom. The video feature on the cmaera works very well, and unlike other cameras that I have used before, there is a good sound quality that comes with them. Only thing I would say is that they do take up a lot of space on your memory card.I would recommend buying this camera, especially for somebody that wants good quality photos for a reasonable price, and without too much hassle. ...
