Point, Click, Result !
Review of HP PhotoSmart R742 by msdevilfish

Advantages: small, light, easy to use, fantastic battery life.
Disadvantages: Lens a little too close to the edge

I am in no way a professional photographer, indeed I am more a 'point, click and pray for the best' type photographer, but this camera has made my results much better than expected. I actually got this camera as a second choice after the one I wanted was out of stock but I'm very glad I did. The best way to explain how easy it is to use is to tell you that my three year old daughter can work it. It is small and light and takes both photographs and ...
...quality settings I can get around 18 pictures before the memory is full but it is easily expandable using a memory card. Another point I really like is the battery. Instead of carrying 8 spare AA batteries round with you at all times, there is just one battery which comes with its own charger...no battery costs ! I charged the battery at Christmas and it is still 3/4 full. A small flick of a switch and you can view photographs and videos already ... Read review

A good silver camera
Review of HP PhotoSmart M737 by romybuzzer

Advantages: Takes good pictures
Disadvantages: Lacks an optical viewfinder

I have just bought a HP Camera. Its the Photosmart M737 model and finished in a lovely silver colour. The casing itself is hard plastic but also very lightweight to carry. One thing you will notice thats different is that it lacks an optical viewfinder. Therefore when you are framing pictures, you will need to rely on the bright, clear and very large 2.5 inch colour screen on the rear. It does have a finger lip on the front for steadying pictures ...
...strong carry strap. It takes 2 AA type batteries which means they dont recharge internally as a lot of modern cameras do. A set of batteries seem to last around 100 average type pictures. I do like the high range optical zoom that is able to focus in on very close objects as well as distant objects. The resolution does not seem to drop off. My husband has a similar camera with identical Megapixels (8 on both cameras) yet this seems to zoom much ... Read review

Mega Pixel Mini Price
Review of HP PhotoSmart M525 by DannyBoy108

Advantages: Small and handy to be taken nearly anywhere also the price is great.
Disadvantages: 16MB on-board RAM is not enough you have to purchase a larger SD Flash card.

...the chance of breakage. The HP Photosmart M525 has a built in flash that is situated just above the lens, even though it is small it supplies ample light for the photograph you are taking. This camera has two capture buttons on the top of it, the shutter button; the one that is the largest, is for taking still pictures but quite handily behind that button is a video button that records small videos with sound, very handy for recording important ...
...supplied. You connect the HP Photosmart M525 to your computer with the supplied USB cable or you can if you have a card reader just take out the card and insert it into your card reader. It takes a SD Flash media card, I think one of the reasons this was so cheap is because it is not supplied with a SD flash card though it does have 16mb onboard RAM but this is nowhere near enough for quality pictures. Underneath you also have a threaded section ... Read review

To take a photo or not to take a photo
Review of HP PhotoSmart E317 by crazy_pixie

Advantages: ...
Disadvantages: flash, lcd display screen, turning itself off, low battery retention

...or replacing it with anothe HP camera. The LCD display on the camera is also very small and whilst using the video function of the camera you can not zoom in or out which can be quite annoying if you are trying to film somethign at a distance for example on holiday when you have to be a certain distance from animals say. I would NOT recommend anyone to buy this camera. However the customer service of HP has been very good as they have replaced the ... Read review

M22 Photosmart - Great Little Camera
Review of HP PhotoSmart M22 by Yummymummyjens

Advantages: Pocket Sized, Durable, Easy To Use
Disadvantages: Battery Life Not Very Long

I have owned my HP Photosmart M22 for over a year now, and it is the best digital camera i've had so far. It is easy to use with the slide open lens, and takes brilliant pictures. It also does video footage - this function is a good idea but the film doesn't come out too well if its dark. Taking the pictures from the camera to the PC is simple too, with just plugging the USB cable in and off you go. The only disadvantage i have found to be with ... Read review
