The compact little dishwasher features 4 program options. Eash one operates extremely well. The fast wash is very fast. The economical wash a little on the long side. A lot of time is spent on the drying portion of the program. It takes 4 place settings and can deal equally with pots and pans on the top rack as well as the bottom. ...tried any other. One slight downside is the lenght of time the program takes, but this is probably the same with all modern dishwashers. We ordered this dishwasher because we wanted one with 14 place settings (as we seemed to be running our old one twice a day). This one definitely can take more 'stuff' because of a separately cutlery drawer/shelf. There are two great features with this dishwasher: 1 - the sound - it is so quiet !! ...you do get more in. Obviously I'm not talking double or anything, just an additional 10% or so but that makes a big difference and stops dirty stuff hanging around by the sink. The appliance has a quality beep (not the squeaky strangled one you get on cheap appliances - it's a man thing!) for programme start and stop. This dishwasher was installed in my house as a replacement for the broken predecessor, and it is very much inferior to the previous dishwasher. There are four settings on the dishwasher; rinse, eco heat, a middle heat, and then 65c. In my experience, the eco heat setting rarely manages to clean all the dishes, and there is often a bit of nutella remaining here and there. It shuts fine, but I often find that after a wash, the door has not released properly, and therefore a rather soggy tablet still remains! This reduces the washing power of the machine further.
