...on eBay and bought this Memorex for £40. Chuffed with the price for what is concidered a reliable make of CD drivers/audio equipment, I didn't care that the speeds etc were a little pre-modern. ...this opinion about is the Memorex TwelveMaxx 1032. It is a 12 speed CD writer drive, which is also able to re-write at 10 speed and read at up to 32 speed (12x10x32). ...the drive vertically. Being Pioneer I imagine longevity is a given, at least here in my household they have an enviable reputation for reliability. I have never managed to break anything I have bought from them in the past. It doesn't seem to matter what quality of disc you present it with either, it just accepts any old tat.
