arcitec 1085
Review of Philips RQ 1095 Arcitec by
gery
Advantages: design, lightness, the closest shave possible
Disadvantages: no compact travel case
I've been a life long philishave user and just when I thought it would be impossible to make something better, they did! As a lover of gadgets which actually work, this is fantastic and it also has the advantage of being visually stunning (like a work of techno art). It is also a tactile delight - shaving is now actually fun and the result is the best and closest shave I've ever had (including multiple blade wet razors) so much so that I'm constantly ...

Review of Philips HS 8020 COOL SKIN by
jamesf75
Advantages: Convenience, comfort
Disadvantages: Still difficult to get as close as a wet shave but comes a VERY close second
...Fusion and although I do go back to my own ways every now and then I find the convenience of the Philips is more than adequate for my daily pre-work pampering. A great buy, don't be put off by the cost,it pays for itself in the time it saves you. ...

Silky smoothness in a flash
Review of Philips HP 6517 Satinelle ICE Premium by
sophosthegreat
Advantages: Rechargeable and ice cooled.
Disadvantages: Loud buzzing noise it makes
...of your own home?
This Philips Satinelle is like other epilators in its ability to lift hairs from close to their roots and give you the long lasting smoothness of waxing with none of the mess, expense or time required. Plus unlike shaving this little baby will keep your legs smooth for 3 weeks at a time!
As a bonus this particular epilator is rechargeable, making it perfect for use in the bathroom, unlike rival products which need to be plugged ...

Philips QT4045 beard trimmer
Review of Philips QT 4045 Vacuum Power by
the_didge
Advantages: Different length settings and built in vacuum cleaner.
Disadvantages: Does not vacuum up all hair clippings.
...so it does still require some cleaning up afterwards. The battery life has so far been very good and does not require constant or frequent charging. The Philips QT4045 has been the most reliable beard trimmer that I have tried and I would definitely recommend it to others. ...

Clean shave, but yanks hairs out!
Review of Philips HQ 9170 Smart Touch XL by
Neilthomas
Advantages: None over my 7 yr old Philips.
Disadvantages: Pulls hairs out, may be needs more power to spin faster?
Have used Philips shavers for 25 years. Decided to try this one. Had it for 3 weeks and used several times. Although it is neat and impressive and 50% extra blades and the final result was a nice clean shave, I hated using it because it would constantly pull my hairs out! May be not enough power for all the blades?
In all my years shaving I have never had that happen. This one would suddenly and instantly yank out a hair every 5 seconds! To the ...
