Review of Remington R 330 by
CarlG
Advantages: Good Shave, Titianiam Blades, Well Priced
Disadvantages: None
...little while ago my trusty Remington R950 broke after about 5 years of use and abuse. As I was more than please with that I set about looking for a replacement with the main criteria being that 1) it had to be a Remington and 2) it had to be reasobaly priced. After a little a opted for the R330 for £49.99
The R330 is a has triple floating heads under which are titanium blades, having had these on my previous Remington I can testify that they do ... ...the push button type (rather than a slider) next to which is a power light. At the back there is a beard trimmer which pops out when the firm slider is push upwards.
When used the R330 performs well, it is about average weight but is noticably quieter in use than my last one. The shave it gives is very good with the 3 independant floating (pivoting) heads adjusting the facial contours well, I even use it on my head as sadly I don't have much hair ...

Excellent shave RUINED by design flaws
Review of Remington F 510 F5 Titanium by
imagia
Advantages: Great clean shave, quick charge time, funky colours
Disadvantages: Design and position of on/off button is infuriating!
...used to have an old Remington shaver and since that lasted about 4 years before it finally gave up the ghost, I decided to go for another. I plumped for the F510 F5 because it was on special offer at Amazon, so I got it for £29.99! Extra features for no extra cost were a big lure I have to say! Normally the Titanium series shavers come in at over £60, which would be a bit much on my budget. But let's see what you get for the extra money.
The main ... ...talk about the "intercept trimmer". Remington have positioned this so that it cuts away the longer hair before the foil gets to work. In my experience you always need to go back, even with these special features. While this trimmer does get some hairs out of the way before the foil, it doesn't shift nearly enough of them to make much difference. The thing is, it's quite tricky to keep it at the right angle when you're concentrating on the foil too, ...

arcitec 1085
Review of Philips RQ 1095 Arcitec by
gery
Advantages: design, lightness, the closest shave possible
Disadvantages: no compact travel case
I've been a life long philishave user and just when I thought it would be impossible to make something better, they did! As a lover of gadgets which actually work, this is fantastic and it also has the advantage of being visually stunning (like a work of techno art). It is also a tactile delight - shaving is now actually fun and the result is the best and closest shave I've ever had (including multiple blade wet razors) so much so that I'm constantly ...

Review of Philips HS 8060 COOL SKIN by
rob1001
Advantages: Very good for sensitive skin
Disadvantages: Expensive
...is a new shaver by philips that works in combination with nivea for men shaving conditioner.
With the shaver you recieve a botle of the conditioner, a stand charger, a fine trimmer attatchment for sideburns and the like, a soft carrycase, a cover and a small brush to keep it clean! This shaver has a section in the back that carries the nivea moisturiser, during shaving you can press a button to release some of this moisturiser out of the heads ontop ... ...perfect for sensitive skin. Sometimes electric shavers can pull the hairs out of your skin and you are left with a rash and spots. The experiance of a shave with this item is great. The design is very ergonomical and fits in your hand very sweetly. The head itself has what I like to think of as suspension. This means it tracks the contours of your face making everything much smoother! This model comes with a stand that automatically refills the back ...

rio scanning lazer for unwanted hair
Review of Rio Scanning Laser by
mo16
Advantages: painless ,cost effective
Disadvantages: slow
The rio scanning lazer does 20 hairs at a time and is perfect for home use .
I have been going to a clinic for 1 year having unwanted hair removed ,which was painfull not to mention the cost . The rio is painless, also you have the advantage of zaping the unwanted hair as soon as it comes .
You must read the instructions as hair does grow in stages and you need to destroy the root. ,so there is no quick fix . i have been using the rio for upper ...
