Oral-B electric toothbrush works.
Review of Braun Advanced Power 900 by
simcox1
Advantages: Good cleaning.
Disadvantages: Needs recharging.
...is a review of the Braun Oral-B AdvancePower electric toothbrush.
I admit to being very sceptical about electric toothbrushes. Obviously I'd always used a manual brush, and I saw no reason to change that habit. However, for some reason I decided to buy one. This was about a year ago. They are not particularly expensive, and neither are the replacement heads. I think I paid around £15 for the brush, which included 2 heads. Replacement heads are about ... ...months.
So, I bought one, and used it on and off for a few months. I found that it worked well, but I found it difficult to break the habit of using a manual brush. It has only been fairly recently that I've been using it exclusively.
There are a number of reasons for this. Firstly I have recently given up smoking, and the electric brush is excellent at getting rid of stains. I have far whiter teeth than I used to have. Secondly I was finding that ...

Review of Braun ORAL-B D 12.013 Vitality Precision by
jonwebb5
Advantages: Cleans well, can feel the difference
Disadvantages: Rapid deterioration, expensive replacement heads, poor battery life
This was the first electric toothbrush I bought. At first, I was extremely impressed with it, and like many other, wondered how I had ever managed without it. Then, as the months passed, I began to notice a few little annoyances about it. Now, six months on, I have stopped using it altogether and returned to my manual. That's not to say the toothbrish is no good. Far from it. The first time you use the toothbrush, the intense feeling of cleanliness ... ...obvious, and your mouth really does feel great after use. I'm sure it is much better for you as well, but as I have never experienced problems with my teeth, I can't claim to have found much difference there. However, initial impressions were very good. It felt great and was greatly out-performing my old manual. Eventually though, the toothbrish was getting on my nerves. The biggest problem was the dramatic deterioraton of battery life. When new, ...

vitality dual clean
Review of Braun ORAL-B D 12.013 P Vitality DUAL Cle by
highlander2007
Advantages: power and dual cleaning head
Disadvantages: lack of a charge indicator light, cost of spare heads
i have used braun brushes in the past and been impressed by there performance,i was using a battery powered braun which was good till the batterys ran down,my wife and son decided they too wished to go electric but insisted on going for a cheaper brush that was rechargeable due to the whole thing with spare heads being cheaper than a pack of two heads for this.it soon broke and i put the old foot down and bought one of these and spare heads.i was ... ...and shoulders over the normal braun brushes with just a circular brush head, from the picture you should be able to see a secondary brush behind the usual circular,in use this adds an up down motion behind the standard rotary motion .it may not sound much but it makes a big difference in cleaning power. both myself and my wife are very pleased with the quality and performance, with just the lack of a charge light my only gripe.
the heads do last well ...

Cleaning ability very disapointing.
Review of Braun ORAL-B D 12.013 W Vitality Prowhite by
jema_00
Advantages: Can be very cheap on special offer.
Disadvantages: Looses power and battery life very quickly.
I bought this model after the sonic one I had died. I got it because it was cheep and I am a poor student! I also got it for the advertised whiting effect that we all worry about now!
Although the general set up is the same it does not have a timer and is more basic.
Although the cleaning ability was good for about two weeks of single person use I then found the motor seemed to loose power and the battery needed to be recharged every night as it ... ...and never felt satisfied with the clean that I got. At first though that maybe I had got a duff unit, but after speaking to a friend who had had hers longer this is quite normal.
The whitening ability was not significant and I have had better results from one of the other oral B brushes. Please don't miss understand me, I don't mean that in order to get a good clean you need one of the really expensive ones costing around £100. I have now gone back ...

Has made our teeth healthier
Review of Braun ORAL-B S 12.013 Vitality Sonic by
cooldude28
Advantages: Quick, fast, does the job!
Disadvantages: None
...be easier, by using this Braun Vitality. I ha seen them in the shops a few weeks before and didn't know if electric was just a toothbrush with batteries, that did just the same thing, or if it really was a better toothbrush. My dentist showe me a demostration using a larger teeth moulde, and held the toothbrush up around the teeth, and I could see that the size and shape of the brissles, could get into the places where normal manual toothbrushes ... ...these toothbrushes, but the name Braun is popular and do deliver good products.
This is good for the whole family. You can keep it in the bathroom like I do, and everyone has their own brush which fits on the toothbrush. Each one has its own coloured end, so everyone knows which one belongs to who. Each brush that clips on lasts aroun 6 months, it is best to change them as much as your dentist says or on the box. I found that brushing with this ...
