Advantages: makes delicious cappucinos
Disadvantages: cleaning is fiddly
...too expensive to buy a gaggia but when i considered how much money i was spending on take away coffees per week then this is an absolute bargain. I bought this machine one month ago and have used it daily ever since. it makes the most delicious cappucinoo which rivals all of the main coffee chain stores offerings. the crema on the top of the espresso it makes is really thick . Having a Baby
Review of Gaggia New Baby Dose by
silverstreak
Advantages: Makes excellent espresso, cappuccino and latte coffee
Disadvantages: Needs to be cleaned and maintained regularly
...usually get them from a Gaggia stockist (their own stores are few and far between), or alternatively from the Gaggia website.
We like our machine, it's been very reliable, and it makes an excellent cup of coffee every time, with the only difference in taste being if we change our brand of coffee at any time. It produces an impressive crema layer on the top of each espresso, not unlike a miniature glass of Guinness in appearance, and while I had ... ...of a long-winded performance, in fact it's very simple indeed. Given the right circumstances, I'd happily buy one for my own home, and having become used to drinking well-made espresso coffee and cappuccino, it really is quite sacrilegious to go back to the blandness of the instant variety. Recommended without hesitation.
Footnote: A quick look around the internet tells me that the Baby Dose is currently on sale at around £225 - more information ...

'Espress' Value
Review of Onn Coffee Machine by
20six
Advantages: Cheap, quick, easy to clean, reasonable coffee
Disadvantages: Slightly ugly
"Espress' Value!
Having broke my way through three different espresso machines during the last 24 months I was very sceptical of purchasing a coffee maker at the extremely low price of £9, particularly when it was becoming clear that what I needed is "help" and not a new coffee-inducing product. My previous buys had all been priced between £80-to-£100 and I'd killed them all with my addiction, but staring me in the face at Asda were a stockpile ... ...stripped-down versions of what I'd been using in the past. "Espresso Machine - £9" read the advertising…who wouldn't pick it up?
I popped Asda's own brand 'Onn' OE001 in my trolley and continued about my business. Several hours later I was home, unpacked and fancied a brew. Herein lies the first minor point - had it have been a Gaggia or Krups it wouldn't have taken me seven hours to remove it from the box; the machine does indeed lack the desirability ...

Cheap coffee quick
Review of Krups KP200040 Dolce Gusto by
dbarcl10
Advantages: Makes good quality coffee, cheap to use
Disadvantages: None
I've had this coffee maker for over a year now and I have to say I'm very happy with it. It looks good in the kitchen, being black and silver, made from high quality plastic so is easily wiped clean, and has a good variety of flavours widely available, and reasonably priced.
I received this machine as a wedding present, but I believe that it now costs around £90. At the time it was coming with a free accessories pack, comprising coffee capsules, ... ...far as I'm aware the product is still available with this accessories pack.
Coffee capsules are available in the following flavours:
Cappuccino
Latte
Expresso
Lungo
Chococin o
Mocha
Cappuccino Ice - Summer only
Lungo Decaffeinato - limited edition
Expresso Intenso - limited edition
I have tried most of these flavours and have found them to be close to the real deal available in coffee shops.
Most of these are available for around £3 for ...

Great coffee quickly
Review of Krups KP200040 Dolce Gusto by
GBunner
Advantages: Quick, Great Taste, Ease of use
Disadvantages: The pods are a little expensive
This is an great looking coffee machine that not only provides a wonderful drink but also looks good in a modern kitchen.
Easy to use and excellent taste, the pods are a little expensive and some are hard to find in the shops. I recomend the Latte and Choccino. The choice is however still rather limited, so hopefully more choices will be out soon to add to the list.
The way it heats up the water if cost effecient and much safer that a kettle if ...
