Fantastic machine, well worth the money, it tells you when it needs to be emptied of coffee grounds, when it needs to be descaled. The machine can be set up to deliver the correct amount of liquid according to your coffee set, no need to go out and buy new cups etc. In fact everything about the machine can be tweaked to suit your own taste, the courseness of the grind, the amount of coffee to be ground, the amount of water pushed through the coffee, ...

Beautiful bit of kit that doesn't work! Problems are : 1. Bad design. Either that or it's broken (AEG now taken it back) 2. AEG customer services inability / unwillingness to do anything! It may be the design at fault. A microscopically small pellet of coffee is used. Around 25% of expected volume on a decent machine. The real problem is AEG customer services. I've had this coffee maker for over a year now and I have to say I'm very happy with it. It looks good in the kitchen, being black and silver, made from high quality plastic so is easily wiped clean, and has a good variety of flavours widely available, and reasonably priced. This is an great looking coffee machine that not only provides a wonderful drink but also looks good in a modern kitchen. Easy to use and excellent taste, the pods are a little expensive and some are hard to find in the shops. I recomend the Latte and Choccino.
