Advantages: Very interesting, consuming and enthralling

There is not much to say here. If you've read Gemmell books you know the overall style and you like it already, if you haven't then it's time you start out! This book has interesting characters, a fun adventure and of course an intriguing way of storytelling. That's when I know that this part was probably put in at a later time, it doesn't synch with the rest of the book. All in all, another masterpeice and the sequel seems just as good if not better. Wolf in shadow, well this story is certainly not in anyone’s shadow; once again it’s Gemmell at his best. Although I felt that the hero of this book (Jon Shannow) was pretty similar to Waylander the Slayer, as in his no nonsense way of getting things done, it didn’t detract from the read.
