Good overall but with some disappointing factors
Review of Breville AWT FP12 FOOD Processor by Bigluce

Advantages: Lots of tools, easy to use, free recipe book
Disadvantages: Some bits fiddly, flimsy grating/slicing blade attachments

The colour and design are great. I did however struggle with the chopping/slicing blades as food gets stuck between the blade holder and lid. I also managed to bend a blade as it wasn't manly enough for the job in hand which was frustrating. I now can't use the blade! The liquidiser is great and has the capacity to crush ice which is great for smoothies and milkshakes. Cleaning it is a bit tricky - you are supposed to be able to remove the blade ...
...multiple speed setting is useful as sometimes you don't want to over-whizz food. My only bugbear is that if you are making something very wet, the bowl can leak if you overfill it and whizz it up fast. Generally however this is a great product and comes with lots of chopping tools that stack neatly inside the machine in a drawer compartment, a large mixing/processor bowl, good size liquidiser attachment and a free recipe book. I also like the fact ... Read review

Thumbs up for the Kenwood Multi PRO
Review of Kenwood FP 582 Multi PRO by pookey436

Advantages: Can do everything you want it to do
Disadvantages: Very large with lots of attachments and very little space to store them

I purchased this product mainly for making cake mix, not quite realising how useful it was going to be. It comes with many attachments that you can use on absolutely anything, I have used this to chop my carrots for a roast, to make mash potato (which comes out lovely and smooth), to make smoothies, (it says in the instruction manual you can make smoothies leaving the skin on most fruit, this is something i haven't yet tried, i peel my fruit first), ...
...Having always made cake mix by hand i will admit i should have brought this product sooner, i just throw everything in the mixing bowl, turn the knob and about 60-90 seconds later it's all mixed, this has helped me produce the best cakes i have ever made. The power knob has different speeds and there is also a pulse for helping with things that need just a quick whizz. It is impossible to turn it on without clicking the bowl into place first as there ... Read review

Can't Cook Wont Cook
Review of Kenwood FP510 by morph0703

Advantages: Time saving, easy to clean and value for money.
Disadvantages: Colour

I sat down and watched a cookery program with my wife and within minutes was driving to buy a food processor. I brought this one and ever since my wife has been blessed with Super Grub. It has all the attachments you could need and is easy to clean. I have never liked slicing and diceing so this made it all to easy for me. I find i tend to experiment more now and have started to eat a lot healhier now. The only thing bad i can say is it doesn't match ... Read review

Kenwood FP698 in Satin
Review of Kenwood FP698 Satin Chrome by cazzooblue

Advantages: Compact, attractive, lots of attachments, storage,
Disadvantages: bowl and lid look flimsy, need lots of storage room for accessories

...a replacement for my last Kenwood that expired after over 25 years of use. The motor is housed beneath the bowl and this makes it very compact, and I am keeping it out on the worktop, the previous model was a big cream ugly thing with a bowl on the side of the motor unit and a removable plate to place the liquidizer and mill on. This model takes all attachments on the base. I wanted a model that had the spice mill, as the previous model had one, ...
...the same attachment. The FP698 despite it's smaller size came with even more attachments than before so I still need the same storage for them if not more than before. It comes with a stylish caddy for the slicing and grating disks that looks good next to it, could do with storage for the other things! The disks are cleverly double sided so you need only three to carry out all the slicing, juilienneing, and grating you want. At first I noticed ... Read review

FAB ITEM...EASY TO USE
Review of Kenwood FP776 by moonface33

Advantages: VERSATILE, EASY TO USE, VERY POWERFUL
Disadvantages: LOTS OF ATTACHMENTS TO STORE

...I recently purchased the Kenwood FP776 food processor and have found it to be a great addition to my kitchen appliances. I have a new baby and can make her tasty meals in minutes. Soups are just so easy to make using the processor to prepare the vegetables. My daughter and i even tacked making bread rolls as the processor comes with a dough attachment. I've made coleslaw, sandwich fillers...things i'd normally buy pre made. It has a bowl and glass ... Read review
