CHOP and much more
Review of Morphy Richards 48950 by
matitora
Advantages: solid, good quality, storage box for attachments, quiet
Disadvantages: attachments are not dishwasher safe, only one speed
After buying Morphy Richards' blender SMOOTH, I bought myself another little present, as I needed a proper food processor, something solid, but not too large.
I had considered the Kenwood FP920, but it was a bit too bulky and had too many attachments that I wouldn't use, but would clutter my cupboards. As I was pleased with the Food Fusion blender, I decided I would buy the food processor of the same range: it looked nice and basic and it had a ... ...actually a bit larger than I expected, but it still fits nicely on my worktop, alongside the blender. The base is cast metal and it has a powerful 700W induction motor, which is very quiet - its more easily noticed advantage over a normal electric motor - but is also supposed to be more durable. It also has the characteristic cable and plug storage system in the base, so that your counter remains tidy when you don't use it.
CHOP has a 2,5 l processing ...

A true Pro
Review of Kenwood FP 580 Multi PRO by
titch1709
Advantages: a good size but easy to store
Disadvantages: not all accessories avaible in Uk
I have had my kenwood FP580 for a couple of months now and I love it. I only have a small kitchen and it sits in a very small corner - which means it is accessible at all times.
It comes with many accessories including a dough tool, 3 cutting discs, whisk and blender. The 3 cutting discs store away safely in a disc holder.
The main base has inerchangeable bowls and the blender. These are very easy to swap, although initially are quite stiff to ... ...would not be without my Kenwood Food processor, it certainly makes my life easier, from making cakes, soups, to cutting veg and making bread. It has all the accessries and more, and unlike some of the other models , the upright design with interchangeable bowl/blender enables easy storage and is perfect for those with limited space in their kitchen. ...

time & effort saving device!
Review of Kenwood FP108 by
clarebarker
Advantages: quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: bowl relatively small if cooking for a large family, may need a bigger machine
I'd wanted a food processor for ages, but thought that they were expensive, would take up a lot of room, and end up not being used.
I was wrong, this is great value for money, and one of the smaller models, (although that does mean a smaller bowl, which could be seen as a disadvantage for those cooking for a big family). You can do so much with it, so much more quickly than without it, I do wonder how I used to manage! In particular, making a victoria ... ...up), and they always turn out nice. Also, pastry is really easy to make, because it's so quick and easy, and you can freeze it, I end up making massive batches in one go.
I don't use the grating/slicing attachment much, but am sure I will when I get used to it.
Also, it is really easy to clean, and the bowl etc can go in the dishwasher, saving even more time.
If you're not sure if you'd use it, then I felt the same, and you will, and you'll wonder ...

FAB ITEM...EASY TO USE
Review of Kenwood FP776 by
moonface33
Advantages: VERSATILE, EASY TO USE, VERY POWERFUL
Disadvantages: LOTS OF ATTACHMENTS TO STORE
...I recently purchased the Kenwood FP776 food processor and have found it to be a great addition to my kitchen appliances. I have a new baby and can make her tasty meals in minutes. Soups are just so easy to make using the processor to prepare the vegetables. My daughter and i even tacked making bread rolls as the processor comes with a dough attachment. I've made coleslaw, sandwich fillers...things i'd normally buy pre made.
It has a bowl and glass ...
