time & effort saving device!
Review of Kenwood FP108 by clarebarker

Advantages: quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: bowl relatively small if cooking for a large family, may need a bigger machine

I'd wanted a food processor for ages, but thought that they were expensive, would take up a lot of room, and end up not being used. I was wrong, this is great value for money, and one of the smaller models, (although that does mean a smaller bowl, which could be seen as a disadvantage for those cooking for a big family). You can do so much with it, so much more quickly than without it, I do wonder how I used to manage! In particular, making a victoria ...
...up), and they always turn out nice. Also, pastry is really easy to make, because it's so quick and easy, and you can freeze it, I end up making massive batches in one go. I don't use the grating/slicing attachment much, but am sure I will when I get used to it. Also, it is really easy to clean, and the bowl etc can go in the dishwasher, saving even more time. If you're not sure if you'd use it, then I felt the same, and you will, and you'll wonder ... Read review

Whizz....Chop...Blend- what more do i need?!
Review of Kenwood FP116 by clairlouise1982

Advantages: Ideal for small scale use
Disadvantages: not great if you are feeding the 5000!

I bought the Kenwood FP116 , Chrome, as my first food processor when my fiancé and I moved in together. I didn't want to spend a fortune, knowing it wouldnt be somethign I would use every day, so the Kenwood FP116 was ideal, costing less than £30. I set straight to work using it to whip up a batch of homemade hoummous. Using the blender blade (which is the one I use most) I was able to blend all the ingredients to the perfect consistency. The pulse ...
...where it's size let the Kenwood FP116 down. Being only small it couldn't take the whole batch of soup and silly me filled it too full so it leaked over the sides! One tomato covered worktop later and my lesson was learned! other than that though its small size means its perfect for leaving out on the worktop as it blends nicely with the kitchen as it has a modern feel and doesnt 'take over' as its not too large. The blades and jug are easy to wash ... Read review

I like mine pureed not stired
Review of Kenwood FP180 by sparkle2

Advantages: liquidises,blends,slices,and comes with accesories
Disadvantages: Can be a bit noisy.

...i decided to buy the Kenwood FP180. I have had mine for about 4 months now and i have been very impressed with it. I bought it for around about £30 and i think that for what comes with it, it is good value. You may think why not buy just a basic blender but I have friends that have bought them just for when their babies are on puree then they have chucked them in a cupboard never to be used again. I have used mine a lot since i bought it and i ...
...finally on normal food as you can do loads of other stuff with it. My only complaint about it like all blenders it can be quite noisy. The instructions of how to use everything on it and what goes where although a bit flimsy are helpful with picture diagrammes, it tells you how to attach and use each part, e.g. cutting plate can be used on carrots, potatoes, cabbage etc and it tells you how to clean it if only it was self cleaning! There are also ... Read review

Thumbs up for the Kenwood Multi PRO
Review of Kenwood FP 582 Multi PRO by pookey436

Advantages: Can do everything you want it to do
Disadvantages: Very large with lots of attachments and very little space to store them

I purchased this product mainly for making cake mix, not quite realising how useful it was going to be. It comes with many attachments that you can use on absolutely anything, I have used this to chop my carrots for a roast, to make mash potato (which comes out lovely and smooth), to make smoothies, (it says in the instruction manual you can make smoothies leaving the skin on most fruit, this is something i haven't yet tried, i peel my fruit first), ...
...Having always made cake mix by hand i will admit i should have brought this product sooner, i just throw everything in the mixing bowl, turn the knob and about 60-90 seconds later it's all mixed, this has helped me produce the best cakes i have ever made. The power knob has different speeds and there is also a pulse for helping with things that need just a quick whizz. It is impossible to turn it on without clicking the bowl into place first as there ... Read review

My second Kenwood
Review of Kenwood FP691 by ginvzt

Advantages: Powerful, good range of attachments, great design
Disadvantages: Capsule stores only 3 disks

...my friends, I decided that Kenwood would be a good choice. Then I had to choose to model. I looked online for some advice and the one that I liked, said: get the most powerful you can afford; check that knife blades are as low in the bowl as possible. I looked around and really liked the FP698. And what can I say - since I got it I am really happy about it. It worked. Perfectly. For 2 months... Then the knife blade decided to go out through the top ...
...then and saw this one, Kenwood FP691, £20 cheaper than I paid for the FP698. It is almost the same as previous one I had - FP698 except for 2 things: 1) it is not chrome coloured, but white. And actually, I think it looks better!!! 2) it has all the same attachments and accessories except mini processing bowl. I thought I will really miss it, but I am doing perfectly well witout it. So, the attachments it has are: the main processing bowl, which ... Read review
