Cheap and convenient Food Processor
Review of Philips HR 7735 Cucin by sparkysdad

Advantages: Easy to use, practical, flexible
Disadvantages: sucker feet! storage

I was always a fan of mixers like the kenwood chef but when my old one eventually died, a freind bought me this processor as a gift and I love it! The bowl is plenty big enough for most of my baking and cooking needs, and the supplied blades work well - I have mainly used it for chopping and mixing, but the slicing and shredding attachment was really useful when catering for 12 at christmas! I really like the fact that the bowl is infinitely adjustable ...
...so no wrestling to lock it to the base, the lid also fits any way round and there is no plastic tab to break off as happened with a processor I had some time ago. You only really appreciate how convenient this is when you use it - as I have an island worktop, its sometimes easier to have the feeder tube on the other side for example. To remove the lid there is a simple large button on top which means adding larger quantities is really easy, and ... Read review

time & effort saving device!
Review of Kenwood FP108 by clarebarker

Advantages: quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: bowl relatively small if cooking for a large family, may need a bigger machine

I'd wanted a food processor for ages, but thought that they were expensive, would take up a lot of room, and end up not being used. I was wrong, this is great value for money, and one of the smaller models, (although that does mean a smaller bowl, which could be seen as a disadvantage for those cooking for a big family). You can do so much with it, so much more quickly than without it, I do wonder how I used to manage! In particular, making a victoria ...
...up), and they always turn out nice. Also, pastry is really easy to make, because it's so quick and easy, and you can freeze it, I end up making massive batches in one go. I don't use the grating/slicing attachment much, but am sure I will when I get used to it. Also, it is really easy to clean, and the bowl etc can go in the dishwasher, saving even more time. If you're not sure if you'd use it, then I felt the same, and you will, and you'll wonder ... Read review

FAB ITEM...EASY TO USE
Review of Kenwood FP776 by moonface33

Advantages: VERSATILE, EASY TO USE, VERY POWERFUL
Disadvantages: LOTS OF ATTACHMENTS TO STORE

...I recently purchased the Kenwood FP776 food processor and have found it to be a great addition to my kitchen appliances. I have a new baby and can make her tasty meals in minutes. Soups are just so easy to make using the processor to prepare the vegetables. My daughter and i even tacked making bread rolls as the processor comes with a dough attachment. I've made coleslaw, sandwich fillers...things i'd normally buy pre made. It has a bowl and glass ... Read review

Kenwood have made my life sooo much easier
Review of Kenwood FP533 by raychul69

Advantages: Stylish, easy to clean, plenty of attachments
Disadvantages: The amount of packaging it comes in.

...food processor after receiving this Kenwood one as a wedding present I really don't know how I've lived without one. It's fantastic! The chrome effect makes it look really stylish and modern so rather than hiding it away in a cupboard somewhere I keep it out on the side. When I first opened it I couldn't believe how much packaging it came in. I appreicate that the blades needed to be covered but I think the amount of packaging they use for all ...
...It is a powerful 800w and has a 2.9L capacity bowl and 1.5L liquidiser so is ideal for preparing food for families as well as single people. It has 3 speed setting on it, pulse, medium and high so depending on what your using it for there is a setting to suit. The dimensions for the processor are 45 (h) x 37.5 (w) x 20 (d) cm with a weight of 4 kg. It is easy to clean as each part comes away seperatley, just mind your fingers on the blades!! Safety ... AVOID
Review of Kenwood FP 920 by QARKED

Advantages: Single base unit for liquidiser and processor
Disadvantages: Complicated, too many extras. No support from Kenwood

I was pleased that Kenwood brought out the innovation of one base unit for liquidser and food processor, saves on space. What a disappointment.... The Kenstore facility gives the impression it stores the accesories, it only stores less than 1/3 of these! Something wrong with their trade description there, is this illegal? It comes with a juicer, citrus press grinding mill, most of which I would not use. These extra bits really do load up the extra ...
...people's needs. The finale...contacted Kenwood support helpline. They close 12.30 on Fridays until Monday morning. So then sent e mail which was ignored. Did eventually get to speak to human who said she would get back to me, never did. So finally e mailed chief executive and customer support again...10 days ago and no response. Just had full refund from shop. Kenwood don't appear to care about their reputation, or their customers any longer. ... Read review
