Review of Prestige 50507 MINI by Nar

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: None

Hello and welcome to the review that should have been here. It was here but its not here now as I have taken it and put it into my private stash somewhere else. It may well appear somewhere else online and if it does it will have my name on it. Thank you to everyone, to all the people in my COT over the years who have stuck by me and who have been great influences over the reviews I have written. It is indeed a sad case that reviewers have to come ...
...sense at all when the original content should be listed and frankly because of endless problems with Ciao I no longer have the time and energy to carry on. Each time I tried, it didn't work. Each message I sent to other members, they didn't appear. Each rate I applied, it didn't show. So that's the end of it. Ty for reading. ... Read review

time & effort saving device!
Review of Kenwood FP108 by clarebarker

Advantages: quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: bowl relatively small if cooking for a large family, may need a bigger machine

I'd wanted a food processor for ages, but thought that they were expensive, would take up a lot of room, and end up not being used. I was wrong, this is great value for money, and one of the smaller models, (although that does mean a smaller bowl, which could be seen as a disadvantage for those cooking for a big family). You can do so much with it, so much more quickly than without it, I do wonder how I used to manage! In particular, making a victoria ...
...up), and they always turn out nice. Also, pastry is really easy to make, because it's so quick and easy, and you can freeze it, I end up making massive batches in one go. I don't use the grating/slicing attachment much, but am sure I will when I get used to it. Also, it is really easy to clean, and the bowl etc can go in the dishwasher, saving even more time. If you're not sure if you'd use it, then I felt the same, and you will, and you'll wonder ... Read review

Whizz....Chop...Blend- what more do i need?!
Review of Kenwood FP116 by clairlouise1982

Advantages: Ideal for small scale use
Disadvantages: not great if you are feeding the 5000!

I bought the Kenwood FP116 , Chrome, as my first food processor when my fiancé and I moved in together. I didn't want to spend a fortune, knowing it wouldnt be somethign I would use every day, so the Kenwood FP116 was ideal, costing less than £30. I set straight to work using it to whip up a batch of homemade hoummous. Using the blender blade (which is the one I use most) I was able to blend all the ingredients to the perfect consistency. The pulse ...
...where it's size let the Kenwood FP116 down. Being only small it couldn't take the whole batch of soup and silly me filled it too full so it leaked over the sides! One tomato covered worktop later and my lesson was learned! other than that though its small size means its perfect for leaving out on the worktop as it blends nicely with the kitchen as it has a modern feel and doesnt 'take over' as its not too large. The blades and jug are easy to wash ... Read review

Small, Compacted and very Handy!
Review of Morphy Richards 48900 Chrome by BubbleLove

Advantages: Compacted, neat and tidy
Disadvantages: None

I recently bought the Morphy Richards Steel food processor, as one I needed a new one and two it went with the rest of my chrome gadgets in the kitchen SETTING IT UP I hate complicated fixtures and fittings, but this is great. You simply lift the large processing bowl onto the base and click into position. Once secured you attach the lid which also clicks in. I find this clicking in very handy, I like to know my machine is secure and safe for usage! ...
...which simple fits into the hole in the top of the lid, then hey! You’re ready to go! FINDING AND USING RIGHT TOOLS AND FITTINGS All the tools that come with the processor fit nice and easy onto the shaft in the middle of the processor. It comes with easy to use instructions for all these parts, but once you've used them once you never forget. The blades are quite sharp so should be kept in safe storage. The blades are great for chopping all sorts ... Read review

A Whizz in the Kitchen!
Review of Morphy Richards 48430 by pollypickle

Advantages: Value for money, sleek design, simple to operate and to clean, 2 year guarantee
Disadvantages: Grating and slicing operation could be better

...processor, but at £29.99, this Morphy Richards model is exceptionally good value (especially as I remember buying a Braun food processor for around £40.00, 25 years ago!) One point to note on the product description - the bowl is not glass as detailed here, but is clear plastic (as I would expect). I find the 1 litre capacity is perfectly adequate for my needs. There are 2 speed settings + a pulse setting which is great for chopping nuts. General ...
...are: * Chopping: the main chopping blade is very efficient. It also comes with a protective plastic cover which means that I am less likely to cut myself when rummaging around trying to find it. * Dough preparation: the plastic dough blade works very well and produces perfectly mixed pastry dough in no time. Cake mixture can also be prepared this way. * Citrus juicing: very efficient and and the strainer is very easy to clean afterwards * Grating/slicing: ... Read review
