...not even Electrolux. I contacted Electrolux by phone and was told that they would phone back...that was 10 days ago. I also contacted the cylinder manufacturer the same day....nada. The Mrs contacted the retailer and they contacted Electrolux who said they would contact me. That was 2 days ago. If the cylinder cannot be obtained in the UK the device is "Not fit for purpose". Advantages: Solid Construction and speed of the manufacture and delivery of Ice
Disadvantages: No freezer door open alarm

This model is ideal for a largish family, we have 4 kids (2 sets of twins - 12 and 5 years) and it copes with the demands for ice cubes, freezer space and fridge occupancy. It is very quiet and changing the external water filter is a piece of cake. The fridge side has an open door alarm which could be a little louder as it has to compete with 4 noisy kids, who are the main culprits. ...cylinder was ordered from the Electrolux Distributor in Scotland.. after 8 weeks of waiting and several misleading invoices claiming parts had already been delivered, I was told that Electrolux do not provide replacement sparking water cylinders to their UK customers, only to customers in Germany, Switzerland and France. If this is the case, which it does indeed appear to be as no-one knows where to order them from then the fridge should not be sold ... Read review

For this reason, I have to rate this item as "Very Poor", especially when you consider how much it cost. ...is very deep you don't need an extra shelve. I usually buy two - three weeks worth of shopping at once, so at the beginning of the month my fridge is completely full and I manage to get everything in, even all my fresh meat that I haven't had time to seperate and freeze.
