...I'm a fan of Whirlpool products and this is no exception. We paid £156-00 (excluding delivery) from Sainsbury's. It arrived well packaged, and after letting it settle after transport and turing it on, it was quickly at a nice cool temperature. It has Auto Defrost facility (as you would expect with most fridges today) but one nice little touch is the lips on the glass shelves. It means if there is any spillage, it is less likely to land up elsewhere ...

...I will say that whirlpool did it all well. One thing that I think that they really would have put was the air ventilator, which is also very vital in the appliance. The shelf glass is also made available but this is fragile and delicate so you are to handle it with care to avoid the glass break. ...not even Electrolux. I contacted Electrolux by phone and was told that they would phone back...that was 10 days ago. I also contacted the cylinder manufacturer the same day....nada. The Mrs contacted the retailer and they contacted Electrolux who said they would contact me. That was 2 days ago. If the cylinder cannot be obtained in the UK the device is "Not fit for purpose". Disadvantages: No freezer door open alarm

This model is ideal for a largish family, we have 4 kids (2 sets of twins - 12 and 5 years) and it copes with the demands for ice cubes, freezer space and fridge occupancy. It is very quiet and changing the external water filter is a piece of cake.
