ZUD is a dud
Review of Zanussi ZUD9154 by
sadoldbag
Advantages: Frost free, good storage for loads of small things; not very expensive product
Disadvantages: flimsy plastic add-ons; not big enough for my family; B rating for efficiency
I had one of these fitted by the kitchen people when I had my kitchen re-done, so I didn't really choose it - it came in a package.
I have to say, if I were buying a fridge and choosing just that, I wouldn't have this one, now I've had it for a year.
It has adjustable shelves and is quite deep which is good, but the highest shelf is very shallow (to give you more height for the second shelf) which limits what you can use it for. I end up stacking ... ...I lose things at the back on the bottom, as you can't easily see what's there. Compared to the last built under fridge I had visibility is poor.
The attachments in the door (egg holder, cheese box etc) are pretty flimsy - the skirt which is supposed to hold bottles securely broke the first week, and the salad drawer is an extremely annoying lift up design. This makes use of the space I suppose, but you put your salad in the"drawer" by lifting up ...

Cool as they Come
Review of Zanussi ZC85L by
Kimbo
Advantages: looks, build quality
Disadvantages: A bit pricey
This is the second Zannussi product That I have bought in the laast few months, and I have to say that I have been very impressed with both. This Fridge is very good looking and looks like it will last for ages, the build quality is very high. It also is a bit like a Tardis, it really does look more spacious on the inside, never a bad thing when you have a small kitchen. So far it hasn't missed a beat, it is very quire, and the coller control is ...

Electrolux Fridge and Freezer
Review of Electrolux ERES 31800 X by
ambrigen
Advantages: Appearance and features
Disadvantages: Terrible customer service, product quality and accessory support
...cylinder was ordered from the Electrolux Distributor in Scotland.. after 8 weeks of waiting and several misleading invoices claiming parts had already been delivered, I was told that Electrolux do not provide replacement sparking water cylinders to their UK customers, only to customers in Germany, Switzerland and France. If this is the case, which it does indeed appear to be as no-one knows where to order them from then the fridge should not be sold ...

Electrolux Fridge with Sparkling Water
Review of Electrolux ERES 31800 X by
madammadness
Advantages: Looks nice, Easy to clean, Dispenses cold water
Disadvantages: Cannot get gas for the sparkling water
...existing cylinders. I have contacted Electrolux customer service and they have not been able to help. In fact, they gave me the run around! For this reason, I have to rate this item as "Very Poor", especially when you consider how much it cost. I wouldn't recommend you buy one of these fridges until Electrolux sort out the gas cylinder supply problem, Julie C ...

HOTPOINT RL150
Review of Hotpoint RL150 by
littlemissvicki
Advantages: Stylish, Good Price, Lots of room
Disadvantages: Door does always shut, when slammed
I always wanted a stand alone fridge, especially when I was expecting my second kid, due the space I needed for bottles and as I was now a stay at home mum I bought all fresh foods to cook with and my fridge freezer just didn't have the room. I looked long and hard to fine this product, it is stylish, excellent price and lots of room. I especially like the salad compartment, this is very large compared to others I looked at. This fridge has one less ... ...is very deep you don't need an extra shelve. I usually buy two - three weeks worth of shopping at once, so at the beginning of the month my fridge is completely full and I manage to get everything in, even all my fresh meat that I haven't had time to seperate and freeze. The one down fall is the door, you need to make the feet at the front of the fridge taller than the back otherwise the door will not shut when to push it and walk away it will slam ...
