According to Saitek the USB version of this stick does not require calibration however in my experience simulators such as X-Plane DO require you to calibrate it otherwise you can have undesirable effects such as the y-axis (up down) being permaently up. ...profiles are very few but Saitek do supply some on the cd plus a few on their website. Loading a profile into the software is straightforward and you can profle the stick direct from the editor. You can also load a profile from the systray icon for speedy access. Within the Game controller control panel you cannot calibrate the stick as there is no need. It auto calibrates itself.
